THE Best Fishing Video I Have Watched In A LONG Time. Thank you. Tournaments take the fun out of fishing these days. It's more like work with pressure and all.
LOVE THESE GUYS! A True Underdog Story!!! So glad they won, congrats fellas, you deserve it, and you did it with class, no cheating, no high dollar equipment, no sponsors, just a couple good 'ol boys out there for the love of the game!
@@cody0010 🤝🏼🙂... This guy is just a person that is a hater 🤣🤣. He post a negatives type comment outside of mine about the video title. He is just one of them "Karen" type people, they just put out negative vibes... "Hence a Hater"🤦♂️ 🤣
That could be one to top all fishing videos fer slabbers !!what a great river!congratulations boys yu can't go wrong going together making memories to last a lifetime!!
This really makes me think about the area I fish in and how the tournament pros do here. I fish the Mobile River Delta and professionals have always had a hard time figuring out the fish here, to the point they call it one of the toughest places to bass fish in the country. But I can take a kayak out and two poles with two lures and no electronics and catch more and bigger fish because i know how they move and act here.
The only live scope these boys need is their eyes! Awesome watching where they were putting their bait's at,bass anglers take a 1oz weight punch through there and they went through and picked it apart! Good job fellas!
Great job with that video know how the ol boy feels lost my friend 3 years ago he was the best crappie fisherman I ever saw rip Johnny “damit boy “Battle
My first boat was a 16 LuCraft bought in 1976. It had a 25 horse Evinrude for a kicker. I caught a ton of fish in that boat in the Ponce Inlet area before I sank it at the jetties about 5 years later. Coast guard towed it in and I sold it to a fellow who fixed it all up and kept it many years.
I'll tell you this my daddy taught me exactly the same way keep it simple 1 rule know where you've caught fish and have plenty of bait I believe this one of most favorite videos of all time now I live in Ohio we don't have crappie like you all I'll gaurnte it I could put you on some big pretty whitetails 250 pounds I love crappie and redear
Im one of these guys. If you have a good understanding of fish behaviors through the seasonal progression you dont need electronics at all. They can be helpful but id rather rely on what i know vs stare at a box all damn day.
"You gotta promise to outlive me cause I don't wanna do this with any one else." I came for a fishing video and ended up getting lake water in my eyes.
On the relatively smallish lakes I know like the back of my hand, I don't need electronics. I've fished them so much, I almost always know where they will be if they are not where I initially thought they might be. I've noticed highly predictable patterns over the years, where fish in a particular area always seem to travel between based on any number of factors. Just bring out the old Jon boat with the 10 horse and go from point A to B and so on and starting working colors or live bait if all else fails. On bigger lakes, or lakes I don't know that well, I would definitely ride the struggle bus without them, because it's like I'm sifting through a desert to find a particular grain of sand.
My kind of people great fishing . I do it sometime 5-6 days a week if I can . I fish alone 98% of the time . I bet I’ve brought home 2,500 to 3,000 crappie in my boat this year alone . Not counting throw backs an culls or just scout fishing after I have a limit . And we are allowed 25 fish per person .
The difference is that they pay attention. As opposed to staring at a screen all day. But both methods requires knowledge. One can be learned at home and they other cant.
The most consistant walleye fisherman I know uses nothing more than a 12' tin boat with a 6hp kicker, and an old Zebco combo with a Mr Twister. I watch him fish all the time, he always keeps the boat moving but never quite trolling, obviously he doesnt need a fish finder to keep that that Mr Twister right where it counts. Never underestimate how effective extremely simple gear can be in the hands of a knowlegable fisherman.
“Fishing is one of the best ways to be friends.”
No truer words have ever been spoken.
Gotta love these dudes. The knowledge of local fishermen that have been doing it for decades is second to none.
Best video I’ve ever watched on TH-cam. I wish people like this would win all the tournaments. Respect for the outdoors
CONGRATULATIONS, and without live scope, these guys are real fishermen!
y’alls friendship is so refreshing and absolute gold….love it.
This was an absolute pleasure to watch! They should have their own channel.
I’d watch all day
This is so great. Real, ordinary fishermen. Makes me really happy to see this kind of thing still going on.
These two men are national treasures. They're just fishin' the way it should be

Facts!!! See who really know how to fish
@@TD-dj9ep 100 percent 🤝🏼
Yup. I bet some people couldn't catch a fish if they didn't have electronics. It would help even out the field.

so then fish the tournament and win...
These guys been saving that spot since last year and the year before and the year before that and the year before...
This is the way all tournaments should be, no electronics allowed that would prove who the best fisherman really is.
Way to go! Finally real Fishermen!!
Can't beat experience. Definitely deserved it. Seems like good guys.
Good guys. Good friends. I need a person to hunt and fish with like that. Fun

They know how to catch them with out electronics, excellent, give them a bonus for sure.

Research deep man Ohio has plenty quality crappie. I know for a fact
I can relate , me and my best friend have fished together for 30 years
We need a good story after last years weights in walleye classic!
I was thinking that same thing haha 😂
Until last year my only depth finder was a 12' bream buster pole with white stripes painted on it every foot.
Pastor Williams here, i love this video .

Best bromance ever😂
Makes me proud to be Floridian
Glad they won congratulations guys
Man those fellas caught some slabs! Congratulations to those two awesome fisherman!
I get them on blue silver flake and white tail tubes in Jesup but its milky water, black and chartruse is my fav
I love seeing this. Great job guys.
THAT'S the way ya do it! I see they were using those top secret Shimano reels I've been hearing about. 🤣
"You gotta promise to outlive me cause I don't wanna do this with any one else." I came for a fishing video and ended up getting lake water in my eyes.
I want more tournaments without electronics
Set them up then?
They are just good ol'boys who knows what they are doing.
Congratulations to the old guys !!! No need for the fancy electronics. Just go fishin
That's the way it should be. Just fish because you love it
They're literally catching them on camera you don't need a $50000 boat to catch fish
What rods are you fellers using??
On the relatively smallish lakes I know like the back of my hand, I don't need electronics. GREAT video! 👍
Locals know the spots and remember them.
Love these guys!
Does anyone know what poles they use?
Beautiful fish
Love the stick steer boat. Don't see them around here in Ontario.
I've got Elite TI Lowrance on my fishing toon and never bother turning it on and I ketch a ton of crappie
Yeah ! Love it. Just takes alittle brain. Their comfortable with being uncomfortable simple ‘Nuff My kinda folk. Awesome stuff 😎😎👍🍻
Not only are they good they use poles with no reels??? What the heck!! Bunch of fun there!!

3:55 that's a man who is at peace with himself.
Ol timer experience on a body of water beats electronics any day of the week.
What cane poles are they using
I am trying to figure out where they got their fishing poles
What an absolute awesome video.
Where can I follow these guys at?!?!?
Anyone know what rods they were using?
Long pole for crappies? Very neat!! What pole is that?
Love it boys.
If you cant do it and do it like yall do youre not real fisherman. Im still ole school too.
No electronics that’s how all fish tournaments should be held..
What type of poles are these does anyone know??
And that's how it's done!
Wisdom > Electronics
Nuff said....jimi
No way they should have won. No 100,000.00 $ boat. No electronics no sponors. Good job guys. It shouldn't cost a fortune to fish
I have never loved 2 men more
The difference is that they pay attention.
As opposed to staring at a screen all day.
But both methods requires knowledge.
One can be learned at home and they other cant.
I think electronics beyond GPS(on big water) should not be allowed in a tournament. Good job fellas, show em up with real skills.
Love it
Awesome!
Love it
Meanwhile the try hards over there with their 70k set up. 😂
GOOD JOB .
That’s great!!
These guys are so much better than those stupid googan chuckleheads. These guys are genuine and just seem fun
Them fellers know that river like back of there hand ive been saying it for years its not the boat etc etc its whos in the boat
Would any of you nice ppl tell me what Kina of pole they have in this video by chance . Thanks in advance

Why are people surprised that they did not use electronics? How do y’all think people fished 100 years ago?
Characters on this boat
Awesome. Should be no electronics in tournament period! Rely on old school skills!
Reminds me of me and my Lil Brother,I went out today he's out of town,I sent him a picture from the bank,he cussed me,and I didn't catch anything
16 foot flat bottom for me. I would get bored and paddled my dad and brother around. I got goor at one handed paddling.
I see a trolling motor. No electronics huh?
You don’t need electronics if you already know what’s going on.
