@@YeetBoii30 she can also heal herself with the protection suzu. It has a small amount of healing it provides, but it isn’t much
I think the kiriko self healing at the end is the support pasive because she was out of combat for like 10 seconds before she healed.
Imagine if the abilities actually matched with the cinematics. People like sigma and the shimada who are just flat out super-powered would be freaking terrifying.

@@imprincesswolfy2565 Fortunately neither on console nor pc has he been a big issue for me *yet.* But I haven’t played competitive except once (and got kicked out for some graphics reason, I have no idea why).
Except one time when his reflect was a serious nuisance and He had a good team with him.

@@firstnamelastname9237 now that we have almost no CC, how broken deflect’s hit box is, the lack of defense from tanks, the reduced support ult charge (because 1 less tank, and the new tank passive that gives even less ult) and the new DPS passive, Genji is left free to roam around in and out the back line with no counters, no counterplay to blade and is rewarded with snowball potential to farm the entire lobby.
Good Genjis are a nightmare to deal with
I want to know why Kiriko sounds like this in the Animated Shorts but whenever I hear her in game, she sounds like she is tryng to do a Sojourn impression.
Yeah, I noticed her voice is a bit lower pitched in game, but in the cinematic her voice actually fits well with how she looks!
I noticed it when a few heros and some voices lines makes characters sound younger now it's so strange
I think the VA did the in game lines before the cinematic and didn't have as much "context" for the character

So basically the dripped out Hashimoto dude is a recurring character. He was also in the animated short ‘Dragons’ with Hanzo and Genji. He gets his phone shot out of his hand and runs into the Hanamura bell knocking himself out. The reason he’s dressed like that is because he’s dressed like that in ‘Dragons’ as well making him more recognizable
The line that gets me every time is "Your Grandma would be so proud" because it makes me think of my Grandpa.

I think she’s always been called a rabbit but the girl had started to like foxes, and then Kiriko became aware of that which had her get a Fox plush, didn’t think that the girl would change her name of “little rabbit” but accepted her decision in choosing so

When he was about to die she quickly healed him
I think at 9:34 she teleported the dude with herself, which is why they were in front of the old man and little girl were behind her, which also doesnt make sense since she can only teleport herself

The one thing that surprises me about the short is how the child just threw the axe a bit lower that man would be dead. That six year old was ready to kill
9:30 she used swift step to teleport in front of the old guy and used her ult before that

I think it’s quite obvious how she got it. While you’re flying and running through swords and deflecting blades your bound to get a little scrape n scratch on your face

okay first up Zen does use a kicking melee ability so it does exist in the game. second I'm surprised no one else has called this that the mother just watched as her daughter got attacked by Yakuza and did nothing when she was supposed to be this great martial arts trainer who trained Genji, Hanzo and her own daughter, text even pointed out she has her sword? Third if that girl was off by just a couple more inches she would have damn killed that guy like I understand starting early to being an assassin, but damn head and ax that's pretty gruesome even for adults? fourth can we all recognize that we didn't see the fox Spirit doesn't once make an appearance in this whole cinematic even when she uses her ultimate?

i get it that, she used her swiftstep well at the end but... she wasnt looking at the direction her mom was at, and u need to look at ur ally before u swift step u know
What I don’t get is why they made her mom out to be some normal suburban mom. She’s literally a ninja too and trained Kiriko herself. Seeing kiriko kick ass shouldn’t be a surprise if literally Genji and Hanzo could wipe the floor with them too lol. Feels so out of character for the whole family.
I hope for the campaign we can customise heroes like Genji, Hanzo and Kiriko to have multiple attacks on their melees

Don't you dare make fun of this cinematic what is one of the best I've ever seen I know you're just having fun but I'm just protective over this because it's just so dang good they hit this one out of the ballpark
They need to quit making garbage games and make a show or somat. I felt so many different emotions in not even 10 minutes. Absolute fire
9:33 Kiriko just teleported with that random dude because she was holding his leg but yeah. Imagine teleporting somewhere with a teammate. Ofc Kiriko doesn't have this ability... It would be cool tho.
Edit: Yeah she teleported. When she teleports to beat that dude, Genji clone gets up and starts running worwards. Then she just teleports in front of that clone so we can see him running behind Kiriko. It's quite hard to notice because the camera angle is the same and we think that she created the second phase of ultimate but nah, she just teleported forward... with that guy. Also we can see that aura Kiriko has while teleporting. That blue mist thing around her.
