I wanted Ezio's Theme from Assassin's Creed II to be in there, and it was. So beautifully iconic and distinctly memorable. But no Final Fantasy main overarching theme (I don't know what it is called)? I loved every second of this, but I feel to do this topic justice you need to span it out for an hour. Thirty years is a lot.

i gotta say, you can definitely hear how it changes. obviously retro games had to have outstandingly recognizable music. mario, zelda and doom themes are so easy, same with halo and shadow of the colossus. i do love how you pointed out the kid who perked up at shadow of the colossus, hes young and that game is pretty niche but its so recognizable and sticks in your head if you have played it.

All I said was that I was pointing out the Luffy character in the video and said it would’ve been amazing if he played the one piece theme. Not like I said he should’ve played anime songs when I clearly know it’s about video games. It just irritates me when people come up in the comments section and try to gaslight me and act as if they’re some sort of a gatekeeper.
