Something like the game Stuntman Ignition, would be cool but I bet someone else would need to do it because it would take a lot of time dedicated to a different cause than what the RLS career mod focuses on

Probably deep into coding but I wonder if there's a way to have the game put a marker over the vehicle that's running from you as a cop. There's an example of this at the start of the mission Tamper Proof

It's possible but it makes future development a little slower. It may happen in the future when more core feature work is done

@@Raceless-RLS Drag (when devs fix traffic on strip) general racing, and offroad too. If ppl with potatoes can't run it, not my/your problem) The economy is broken if you can flip cars, might as well just edit the attribute file and give millions in one go. Progression needs to be meaningful. And car prices are still broken. I'm editing the value file so I get higher more realistic prices. If you wanna feel like winning big, have a special race that pays better, or better pay after reaching lvl 5 in most disciplines.
@@Raceless-RLSRace Suggestion: an outrun race would be pretty cool i think ( i have no idea id the ai cam deal with this Special discipline tho) in the AI fang handle it, a hot pursuit style racing Series would be cool. So just normal streetracing but Police is trying to Arrest the drivers, maybe with some roadblocks placed on the Route of the Race that you Need to Drive around (or jump over??)
Gotta say this is my Favorite mod, cant stop playing it.

Amazing work! Are there any mods that are incomapatible? I started a new save (skip tutorial) and it throws an error as soon as I buy my first car. I've tried buying a different car each time and the same thing happens.
Also tried removing all my non repo mods to no effect. Only mods I have installed are car mods, nothing for maps or career besides this one.
I followed all the installation steps, I cannot find how to enable the mod in Settings, in fact I do not have Settings at all (maybe when you say Settings you mean Options, but it doesn't show up there either). Could you help maybe?

I've been super hyped for career mode since I started playing in around 2016-ish. The career updates have been SO amazing and this is bringing it to the next level. The guy that did the traffic mod several years ago (Gull) ended up joining the dev team I think. I'm hoping they notice you too!

HELL YEA (also 9:25 you and your team could port/make that section again, but do the opposite than in 0.32. By that i mean it could be a separate mod (in 0.32 there was RLS base mod (containing map expansion) and RLS No map (vanilla wcusa map))

I followed the steps to download and enable the mod for the 2.1 update but my game is not recognizing the mod. Even if I go to free roam the RLS map does not show. Any ideas?
Double check your game is 0.33. try clearing your cache. Your mods folder would have been migrated to your 0.33 folder. Also the map will still be the vanilla west coast map. Hopefully that helps.
Very happy with the quick release! It may be a "light" version compared to previous, but its perfect to start a more serious career without map editing trailers and potentially cheesing progress.

It would be nice to have some missions back with various car classes and/or restrictions to give a reason to make a lot of purpose build cars.
I would also like to see some kind of dyno spot to messure your car’s class, performance etc.

Class racing will for sure be back. a Dyno area also sounds like a really cool idea. I'm not sure we will have the time to create a working free roam Dyno but if one is out there maybe we can partner with them

As someone new to beam I love your mod! One thing I noticed is if you go to the race track and start a race, drive like 10 feet forward and then turn around and drive back across the line it gives you money every time.

do you need to have both mods downloaded the collection and overhaul? and also I have this installed and sometimes the police doesn't spawn in on playthrough. does it have to do with traffic? what is yours set at?
I think you need a minimum traffic amount of about 3 for police, and yes you need both mods downloaded
probably other ppl already pointed this out but why does racing on the track over and over again is so much more worth it than delivering parcels. id love to make an only laborer save

Hey, love the mod its awesome! Quick question, i have no roaming police, there were like 2 or 3 i seen one playthrough and haven't seen them since. Not a big deal would just like to see how the cop chases are and how the red light camera work, i ran lights and nothing happened
Try clearing cache and double check yoh don't have another mod interfering.
@@Raceless-RLS I did that and still did not work. I took all the mods out of my folder except the rls overhaul and mission repeat. I then did the standard, deep cache clear and the clear old files one. I do have the file with the police enabled installed, i did the CTRL-L thing before i started this new save. I don't think i cleared the cache before starting the new save with rls do you think that could have messed the save up? I wonder if i need to delete and reinstall the game. Thank you for your help i cant wait to see what else is going to be added!

Dude I got home and refreshed the forum post (that I haven't closed since 0.33 dropped) and it MADE MY DAY.
Couple things, why does it cost hundreds of dollars to use the taxi now?
Is it possible to get more options for parcels like before? Used to have tons of options all over.
Also, didn't you say you left economy as is? Cause my economy is inflated compared to before I installed the mod. Matter of fact, progress was so slow I didn't play vanilla 0.33 in anticipation of this 😅
I'm having a ton of fun already, only started a new career about 20 mins ago, or when I started the video.

Glad we could surprise you! The taxi price change was a vanilla thing. And we are holding off on parcel increase, we dont want to cause performance issues. We may increase later. But overhaul didn't touch the economy, the new update seemed to have changed the vanilla economy
@Raceless-RLS that all makes sense! I must have not noticed the taxi price change till after I installed the mod.
I played for a couple hours last night and so far it's a HUGE improvement. I hope for more parcels soon, it was a huge reason I loved 0.32 overhaul so much.

Loved the heavier cargo from 0.32 and how much choice we had at each facilities . Is this something you guys can add as " optionnal " like the police / no police ? Some kind of " heavy cargo / extra cargo " pack to download of we hava a decrnt pc and want to do that ?
We are working on additional garages, but hadn't thought of alternative taxi locations. What locations would you suggest?
Also a lite and heavey version of the mid would be a cool idea but would slow down updates. We are looking into increasing parcel deliveries though
@@Raceless-RLS adding the popular car dealerships and major facilities as taxi locations could be helpful for players delivering vehicles to spot that put them in the middle of nowhere . I think about when driving from the Balasco Garage to the suburb area with nothing around there when done . Having the possibility of taking the taxi to , let's say , the industrial warehouse instead of coming back to the Balasco Garage again and again to be able to complete more car jockey missions will feel less repetitive !

Repeat mission mod is actually still a thing, there is a link for it on the BeamMG forum page. I haven't touched it in a while so let me know if it doesn't work anymore
hey everyone, I've been enjoying this mod for a couple of weeks but I can't get police to spawn in the career freerom, does anybody know how to solve this issue?
Make sure you are updsted to 0.33 with the latest 2.1 mod update, remove old rls mod and clear cache
i did everything as said in the description of the mod, i also have the no_police mod deactivated
okay, after some research from people that had had the same problem, the solution was to spawn police in the freeroam mode and disable spawning mods as traffic, thanks for the help nonetheless and keep doing ehat you are doing, i love this mod
Is very cool to race these cars I like that hot rod game ethos... or even gran turismo race fkr cash to upgrade vehicle.

@@Raceless-RLS It will be a way to use mod cars to do the parcels missions, it didnt even need to be a visual cargo box (it will be good but not necessary)

Great! I instantly played it. The optians for racing are great. Maybe a bit to much earing for my taste. I drove a few rounds with my starter and got 150k :)

@@Raceless-RLS Oh its a Bug! I checked my finacal record. I drove over the Finish line and back. That was counted as a 15 Sek Hotlab o.O
The rest of my laps gave me around 1.8k per round which i find reasonable
I recreated it. If you drive over the finish line after one full round, stop, turn around and drive right back over it, it counts as a new full lap without driving over the checkpoints again. If you want i can upload a clip.

hello again,it me, why when i start the game (and the mod), the cops doesnt show up a lot, like, they are showing up like one time in like 30 minute of gameplay and i really wanna get involved into police chase and race but i cant cause they arnt showing really much .. and by the way can you help in the same time with the race championship plz they arnt shwoing up either on the map plz help ...
update : srry i didnt know you changed that much things im watching video rn and i just didnt cheked at the right menu in game and at the right place tanks by the way , your the best youtuber ever , like youre respondign to every message and it admirable plus theres almost never bug and i will go in the way to say the mod make my pc faster in the big area so it cool tanks for your mod it the best mod (in my opinion) i got a gtx 1050 with 4gb gddr5 and 32gb ram (2400 hz) with a i7 7700hq (i say my spec for yall if need to understand how it run smontly now with them od im doin 90 fps before i was doin like 50 to 55 in the best area tank guys!)
