    Congratulations on the new great-nephew.
I very recently did a similar zipper installation on a ByAnnie pattern...the Sidekick. I must admit it sort of threw me for a loop and mine isn't perfect. But the friend I am making it for won't even notice I'm sure.

Congratulations on the new babies. Being a great aunt is so special. I want to get this pattern. I think adding rivets to the zipper tab at the end would add a bit of bling. And drop in lining. Arthritis hands and fingers not ideal for birthing bags anymore.

Have you seen the new Hinterland Pattern by Lavender & Twine? It has a drop in lining and sews up beautifully, too.

I haven’t seen it. But I’ll go look. Thank you.

I laughed with you over the vinyl comment, "using it up so I can buy more"!! That's so me, too! 😂 Love the blue hues you chose for this one. What a great bag...another pattern I might have to get! Thanks for another awesome tutorial 🤩

I am so glad to see you don’t cut your zippers when marking the center. It drives me crazy when people do that as all it can lead to is raveling of the zipper. Love this video. I’ve cut out the Takisha but got distracted by another pattern. I’ll start working on this one today. I’ve subscribed.

You're right, that's a really neat way to make the zipper placket. I can't wait to try it. Just bought the pattern yesterday. Your machine is so quiet. What is it?

    Congratulations, G-Auntie! ❤
Quick question please: Are you sewing with your zipper foot for the whole project, or is it a “slim-foot”? Thanks

Hi Cyn, it is my narrow foot... LOVE it

@@jeanniesdesigns5295 Thank you, Barbie. Appreciate the response. I’ll see if I can get one for my Juki 1541s.
