I haven't watched this channel for a couple of years, since the gorgeous Mercy and Gracie era and the very beautiful Stella and her kittens. I'm so glad I've rediscovered Tinykittens. I've fallen in love with this adorable log boi already.
I’m going to have to reacquaint myself with TK. Tomball is such a dear. I haven’t been around for a long time. I forgot how calm listening to Shelly’s voice makes ME! 😻
His little face has changed so much, he isn't as anxious as he was. People claim cats faces aren't very expressive but when you live with a cat you can tell when they're in trouble even without the body language. He knows he's in a good place.
He also looks so much healthier from any medicine he's been given, and the good food, clean bedding and proper rest he probably hasn't ever experienced in his life.
"Friends share snax together." ~Miss Shelly So amazing to watch Tomball learning to trust. He is glorious. I hope he will shred his feral card and become a precious house lion.
@harridan. Oh, goodness, you are sweet. Tomball really is a very special boy. Of course, I adore all the kitties. But, not since Thorla have I had this intense desire to truly wish to adopt.
"Ode toTomball: Tomball, you're a bonnie boy; A ginger through and through; When first I cast my eyes upon you, there was something I just knew; I knew you'd settle, and I knew you'd purr; And I knew with all my heart; That, in days to come, you'd relish TK's love; And embrace this - your brand new start." For Tomball with much love from Joanne🧡
His face is relaxing. That’s one thing I notice about the ferals. After they’ve been at TK for awhile & are getting good sleep, etc, their faces start to relax.
I give my almost feral 7 year old cat gabapentin mixed into a bowl of Churu. She was long overdue for a nail trim and This morning she got her claws stuck in the window screen. Another Churu to lick after each nail is clipped and some cookies for after and she is alright with the world. She is so stoned she can't jump up to her high perch 😂. She is slowly following me around and chooses to flop down on the middle of the floor nearby. Poor baby. Her nails were really long and I could hear them click clack on my wood floors. Good to go for a few weeks.
What a good Tomball... his eyes tell us all. His behavior is the best we all can wish for. Ok he's on Gaba - but he will trust without in the future... and Shelly is so patient with him... and he feels this 😊
Good morning Tomball and Shelly. I'm so glad he is not so tense. His ears are so clean now. I wonder if he feels so much better. Thank you, Shelly, for being so patient, tender and devoted to making him feel more comfortable and healthier. His cleaning himself right away after eating shows cats' instinct to be clean. They are animals who have pride in themselves if they are cared for. I hope he continues to improve and starts enjoying life and people. Love being sent your way.
One hour and 6 minutes in!!! I've been watching for four or five minutes and getting sleepy, and I did this for 20 years until I got too old and arthritic.
Aw, Tomball has his very own ratty pillow. He says the hoomin is nice with the food and all, but she doesn’t seem to understand my feral boundaries very well. I’m deciding on whether I should reconsider my feralness. TBD.
Its hard for these feral toms, they really like the freedom of outdoors, but they reach an age and condition where they need care to live a long life. They sometimes really turn the page and make great companions.
Absolutely! A few minutes ago I said to my son that Tomball is another Grandpa Mason. Love and patience is all that is required. Tomball may never be a lap kitty, but in his heart he says thank you for your kindness and he wishes to stay, but please not to hurry him.
@@cogitatorcat2306 Captain's log, Tomball date 2412.9 The sound in this place is really weird. It seems muffled on the one hand and very loud on the other. The human is still approaching me. She has food, so that's good, but I still don't understand why she does what she does. Staying suspicious.
He probably was someones's pet at one time. He is semi feral. Berkeley was feral. She did not want to be petted at all even after 2 months with her kittens. It will take a while to get his trust.
@Beruthiel45 puh! OK.. My mom had her leg amputated and had to take it. She ended up with stomachaches and eventually her liver showed trouble. When the doc took her off, she had serious withdrawal. I had no idea it's given to animals. Thank for explaining 😊
Sorry but as nervous as he is, he sure is laying on the dramatics.😄This is some Oscar worthy acting that he is afraid of you and his luxurious life. A personal scratcher, a cush bed, 24/7 room service and en suite? Please. lol
Amazing what time and patience can do. ❤

Every cat's face is different and very expressive 🐱❤
We also have the advantage of closups and being able to watch him when he doesn't know anyone can see him.
He also looks so much healthier from any medicine he's been given, and the good food, clean bedding and proper rest he probably hasn't ever experienced in his life.
Love can move mountains... or logs, in this case. ❤🧡

Hi Joanne, wonderfully stated! So nice to see your poetry on TK as well😻 (MLG)

Hi Joanne 🙂💕🐾
Oh he’s just so cute!! He’s getting a lot better!!
What a darling boy.
What a sweet little man!
Haha, he may be feral but he's already learned to recognize the sound of a pouch and a can being opened!
Idk what it is about that sound, but they know... I've feed a ton of feral cats and they just know...
i just want to give Tomball the biggest hug! He mightn't want one

I'm in love. Little sweetie. Those ears. 😍I wish him the absolute best life full of nothing but love. ❤
Oh, I just love this cat!
Wow, look at that!
Something I’ve learned from Shelly is patience, going slow, building trust. That’s what makes a big difference!

He appeared to enjoy the gentle crinkle sounds in the beginning.

Grooming while being petted by hooman -- good job, Tomball! Huge progress!!! 🧡
"We're friends, we're very good friends" is one of Shelly's most used phrases along with "You're so cute (YSC)"
I love how she made a little fort for him to feel safe in ❤

Well done Tomball and bless you Shelly!!!! So beautiful and precious beyond mere words!!! 💖🐱💖
Does he remind anyone of Grandpa Mason?
Yes! That was one of the first impressions I had… scared, anxious, but vulnerable and wanting so bad to communicate, but did not know how to

Wouldn't it be funny to see side by side comparisons of this enormous galoot with a newborn kitten?!! Good job Sir Loggie!
So wonderful. God bless you, Shelly
He likes a clean blanket!! ❤️
He’s actually legitimately into it!! ❤23:33
I adore this boy so much! ❤
I Just Love TOMBALL, Wish he was at My House/ What A BUEATY, LOG CAT!!!
TB the most beautiful log.
The opening of the cat food can is a cats universal language!!❤
I would have gone to a garden center and bought him a small planted bush, knowing me!
Poor guy. He was once a cute little ginger kitten. I wonder what’s his story.
Good job Tomball
Once again, The Amazing Shelly!
Those adorable crumpled ears, are they due to the polyps or protecting his territory? 🥰 I am so glad the gabapentin makes him feel less stressed.
Ear mites and a polyp
What a precious puffy furry baby
His eyes are still showing alarm of sorts.

It’s not a diary of a Log, it’s a Log of a Log.

So the Diary of a Log... would that be a Log Book then?
I've heard that thumping too. I hope we find out what it is.
I think it sounds like a washing machine/tumble dryer.
He's going to be a loud purr machine once he gets more comfortable I think
Looks like Shelly needs a good baff.
What does this big boy weigh?
good boy
😊😊😊❤❤❤
What is that low thumping sound in the background?
Probably tumble dryer
Why does he get Gabapentin? Over in Germany it's used for humans after amputation. Side effects for liver are severe...Really just curious 😊
Creature anti anxiety, I understand. Used by groomers too when a pet needs de-matting and such, but is very anxious.

Ear mites and polyps account for the ears.
Did someone 'accidentally' bite or scratch Shelly's finger? 😲
Shelly said she stabbed herself
