Gareth Sharp haha maybe it is when you are a competent carpenter, for me it’s a recipe for disaster! 🤣 yeah the lid will have a bit of bulk to it but will probably need to burn off a few beers once there’s another 4 taps in the shed!
I've done taps on a tower and taps on the collar and if you go with a tower, prepare to have to pull the keezer forward away from the wall every time you need to open the top. While the tower looks great, its a pain to have to move the keezer all the time. Just food for thought.
Cutters Choice Homebrew At The Flag & Fez Brewery. Cheers Clive! The freezer has little castors on the bottom so I will need to roll it forward a couple of feet to get the top up. Hopefully it won’t be too hard to do that when it’s fully loaded! 🤞
@@DudesBrews As long as you still have room to shuffle kegs about outside and pull the keezer out, swap them etc, then it looks good. Good design but I couldn't be arsed moving the keezer everytime i want access. Really like the idea of the taps on top and making it look like a bar so might have to revisit mine somehow. Cheers
Cracking start there to a smart looking build. I think I will look the dogs , well you no cheers. Will look out for part two
Looking good Richard, i'm thinking of doing the same build next year, so i'll be watching with interest, cheers

Looking forward good bud. If you can fit the CO2 in the keezer I suggest doing it. Easier to have it all inside. Less penetrations and easy to move.
Saffer Brew thanks mate, I am leaning that way with the gas as the bottle is definitely going to be in the way on the outside
Beer and woodworking, a match made in heaven! That lid's going to be bastard heavy, so get down the gym :D

ReleaseTheDragon Brewery the freezer is on castor wheels so it’s not a problem, thanks for the heads up tho
Good start Rich! ‘Sticks like’ is great stuff!
How are you going to stop the tower from hitting the wall when you open the lid?
Cheers! 👍👍

@@DudesBrews You shake up any shit in the kegs by moving, especially when loaded. That has been my experience anyway.
Johnnie Sloan yeah sometimes but usually settles back out pretty quick
