Stoked to see Bex in this line up under her own team!
So cool!
Good start to the coverage. Let’s keep this going.
Richie, Saint calipers/XTR levers 🔥
Amazing bikes and riders, good luck everyone in Finale Ligure.
Except those red Zebs and Charger 3.1 damper, Jesse! Can't buy them...yet! 🤤
Let’s go the season is starting!!!! 😁
Can't wait to see the Canadians kick some ass!
I think Richie Rude has used his whole seasons worth of "like" in one interview !
Wow great looking Bikes 👍👍👌
Keep the coverage up
You are filming in italy but it was impossible to get an Ancillotti in front of the camera?
Richie!! 100psi in the fork. The that’s nuts. What a rider!
that's the recommended pressure for about 88kg, nothing crazy actually
Forks are not like older forks newly these psi numbers are getting normalised nowadays
I never knew this I run 65 in my zebs
@@TheMTBRider96is he 88 kg using a small bike😳
@@wonderwatch2239 medium and he’s 182cm tall so on the smaller side but makes it more agile
Some subtiles mentioning the name of the rider and it's company would be a valuable addition. Thanks!
So when do they start adding little aero wings on the front mud guard ? I think that's why some teams run mud guards, add a little downforce on the front
Love that Jessy mounts a chain guide on his chainring. Might want to be extra safe despite the hypes surrounding the Transmission after what had happened to Koretzky and allegedly the same to Nino's partner in the Cape Epic.
linkglide does NOT have thicker chain. It's a normal 11-speed chain
@6:43 That custom seat clamp.. i wish i had that before i sold my Strive 2019 because of pain from seat angle being to slack
What’s the point of having motors and batteries on enduro bikes? Are they timing the climbs now?
yes, they have "power stages". 👍
Theres an E-EDR class that is e-bikes. So...that's the point.
Yes there is E-EDR which is an ebike race, that has two timed uphill stages in addition to the downhill stages.
Richie's chain is a bit short I think
9:00 shoes
Looks like Richie Rude is running a prototype Maxxis front tire. Monstrous side knobs on that thing.
Some new version of Shorty I guess
Hey Seth @BermPeak ! Jesse got the factory version of your modified electronic seatpost seat clamp! You had it first.
@Sethsbikehacks
Why does jesse malamed run Dt Swiss EX 471 not Ex 511?
That is actually a good question. Many pro riders use the 471 instead of 511, even in downhill they use the 471. But the question is why.
(Sorry for not answering your question 😅😂)
@@DarkKnight0183 It makes for a rounder tire profile, easier to lean the bike in and change direction and more predictable at the limit
@@alexkeyes1706 Thanks mate, didn't know about this. Guess I'll buy the 471 rather than 511
@@DarkKnight0183 If that works for you. 25mm width rims is another case of "things the pros do that might not be great for amateur riders", the narrower width does reduce overall grip, there's a reason why 30mm has become the de facto standard width for most amateur riders and a lot of pros, it's the happy meduim between response vs stability.
Maxxis prototype front tire on Richie bike?
Looks like a Shorty but maybe prototype 🤙🏻✌🏻🤟🏻
High roller 3
@@Vivendocadadia yes, looks like shorty gen2
In other words: nothing has really changed. Minion since god knows when, DT 471 rims that are already a decade old, dropper, riserbar, 1x drivetrain and some discbrakes.
Does someone need a hug?🫂
@@Daffy0208 🤣 he makes a good point though. I guarantee the bikes from 3-5 years ago in almost all disciplines could give modern bikes a run for their money under top level athletes. I cant deny its interesting to see the differences between riders though
@sufyanm4661 yeah ... I do get it, but there's only so much you can do without fundamentally changing what a bike is. I'd say that was one of the biggest drivers of emtbs, you could argue that all the development has gone to emtbs, and that's because they can make fundamental changes and improvements. Belt drives, gearboxes, electronic shifting, live ride (or whatever Fox call it) on the fly suspension adjustment, they're all things that can be on normal bikes but most of those are more suitable for emtbs. The question should be what were you expecting? And what would like to see changing on bikes?
Until then ... the offer of hugs still stands. I hold them just long enough till its awkward. 🤣
@@Daffy0208 Does that include a ticket to Scotland? 😀
@coenmtb for the hug? No need ... I'll be passing through next month in the campervan heading to Germany for the Euros, with the bikes of course. So no flight required ... just a bit of patience. However in the meantime I can send a virtual hug. 🏴❤️🏴
Let’s make E-edr only accessible if you are 40+. So it doesn’t swallow up the real EDR. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Enduro needs to take more seriously uphills, if not it's going to vanish between downhill and xc, it's just hard to understand how it works
What front tire is Richie running?
Looks like the new Shorty but maybe prototype
High roller 3
Surprised this isn't pay walled
Did anyone even know their was an EWS this week ? Hardly any publicity
Agreed. I only find out what races are coming up by watching Moi Moi TV.
Ochain on a high pivot 😂
All of this analysis press conferences & hoo harr, but no coverage at all 😂😂😂
Woop UCI farce of a series
The UCI is fully dominated by ageing road riders to maximise the amount of money and attention paid to lucra clad road racing. Those commissars get off on being in full control. They certainly don't want us to see mountain biking and get excited. It's OK to have overwhelming blanket coverage of the Giro, Tour, and Vuelta and all the other road racing season extravaganzas. But those bastards want to maximise their income and minimise the enjoyment of MTB.
I want to see is EBIKE enduro races
Does this mean EDR will get the coverage from UCI it deserves?!
Mmmmm, not likely
Wishful thinking
The blue and gold on Richies bike is hideous
