Nor do they feel that the majority of the people of Israel subscribe to Zionism. The ONLY real/legitimate way for the US to rein him in would be to cut off our arms supply, which won’t happen bc doing so would render the Israeli population vulnerable. I wish things were clearer about Israel: is this America's only formal alliance, outside of NATO and this is why the U.S. goes along with this stuff from Netanyahu? Formal alliances matter and the U.S.'s help to Israel is laudable in this regard. But, the U.S. is oil independent now, and Ukraine (and Poland?) can do everything for the U.S. that Israel ever did. When does this relationship become too one-sided... not sure it does enough for the U.S. now, compared to the risk and bad look. Israel is great, but look at the situation they have with the Palestinians? Who wants to support killing 50 thousand civilians. Is this too much for the U.S. now?
