"Evolving involves elimination." Erykah Badu
🫰🏽🫰🏽🫰🏽🫰🏽
was just abt writing same thing... yeah we got that straight on...
“Change the something happened to me… to something happened FOR ME.” ~Erykah Badu ✨✨✨
🫰🏽🫰🏽🫰🏽🫰🏽
That hit me in my stomach and moved up to my throat 😩
@@tiaeshalucas2832 And will feel all the better when you exhale. ✨
Erykah Badu wiping Rhapsody’s tears was such a priceless moment, I felt that sweet bond of sisterhood…
Powerful 🙌🏾✊🏿
I felt it too 🤍
Women must learn to love themselves first before anyone else and boundaries are a MUST in all relationships.
Women must only get ofishal BBL'S done the right way
I love the way this was filmed.
Erykah's question "What makes you happy?" was intentional. Alchemizing and focusing on the good.
Its refreshing to see two black women talk about love.Seems like love doesn't exist in our culture anymore these days.Salute
Stop simpin champ
It does, but all that seems to get posted is negativity, and we tend to get caught up in what's constantly put in front of us. Love is still alive.
@@theTrend7 word is bond thats why I stay off social media.Thats where all the noise is that doesn't mean shit
Yea, your a big Ole happy simp.
@@theTrend7damn you read my mind ✅
Growing hurts so much
It's refreshing afterwards tho. I agree with you. Especially growing outside of a cramped box.
As a woman/man growth is the number 1 thing in life. We have to, to continue a healthy life with mother earth.
Resonate ✨
Allowing oneself to grow is one of the best most beneficial things one could ever do.
Yes
The real women have entered the chat.
Seeing artists talk to each other is important. The well is empty but the water is unlimited.
"I didn't know Love until being a mother" - Erykah Badu
You know what I love? I love how visibly human Erykah is and so honest about it.
She really is. When people judged her for all her children’s fathers she faced it in truth.
I love how u need a BBL dome fast 🏃♀️ the right way
@rissilient85 how's that bbl doing riss, u might need a lift check up
When Erykah brought up the invisible umbilical cord. Wow. Powerful. Always connected. Rap sharing she had a chance to be a mother & decided not to. What a vulnerable moment. ❤🥺
I don’t know love without motherhood. I felt that in my soul. Motherhood healed me and every day I am so thankful to be her mom ❤.
Facts I feel you on that
This and this again! Idk where id be without my babies
Erykah was able to express ALL those things I feel and felt but couldn’t put into words….especially the being a mom part. 💜
For real!!
Elimination was never a negative thing
Elimination had always kept our bodies healthy and in balance when you think about it
@@theTrend7 simply put, yet so powerful
Elimination Realizing what’s wrong for you allows more space to flourish.. grow
I'm almost 50 years old and I was like the young lady in this video. Always giving and being nice and would get tooken advantage of. I never knew that people treated Kindness like sex. I didn't know that people had to "earn" it. But looking back, when I gave it freely most people didn't respect it.
This video was literally God sent to me. I had to pause it and cry because I heard exactly the words, I needed to text my 20 year old son.. "I love you unconditionally" Thank you for this video
I have a 20 yr old daughter and these moments hit me randomly and often.
I could listen to these two artists talk about life for hours ngl
“Evolution involves elimination” 🔥 those necessary endings are critical to our spiritual, emotional, personal, and financial development!
As a long time fan of Rapsody im happy to see this side of her. Loving these conversations.
Isn't it beautiful?
@@tracysimon7972 indeed it is.
Badu should have a podcast like this.. w both male n female artist n non artist it's so needed.. Doula
This interview right here is Black excellence.
"Really be dedicated to getting Your lessons as opposed to feeling like a victims; Changing the 'Something happened TO me' to 'Something happened FOR me.'"
May all who come across this vid and message be well and remember it's all on Divine purpose, Asé. Sending You all LOVE 🌿
🖤
This was simply a real authentic woman to woman, heart-to-heart life conversation. And I 100% related to it! ❤️
I’m finna go DJ, you wanna come? Hell yeah! 🔥
Badu gave me a green heart. Rapsody gave me poetic justice.
This was a beautiful conversation that was very fruitful and spoke to my soul. The way that you both listened and not listened to only respond was everything. Rapsody, your vulnerability and honesty is beautiful. Erykah, the space you hold for those who want to learn and the way you take them by the hand to guide them on their journey is what we need from our elders. Thank you both for sharing this convo. It was needed on a soul level💛✨🤍
Ms badu is such a sage 🩷
Real tears…just a beautiful conversation. This literally fell in my lap at the right time. Thank you queens!
Same ✨✨
More dialogue like this please, I don’t know WHATS happening to US, but we need more of this
The, "I would" and "why wouldn't they" was so POWERFUL bc truly, why wouldn't someone suck up all the happiness and love you're giving espically when theyve never experienced love like that before?! Or just when it's a "good thing," why wouldn't they absorb allllllll of it for as long as they could
I love the intimacy of the older & younger intertwined of love. Our colors of growth 💜
Feels like a historic personal conversation like if Nelson Mandela would have sat down with Martin Luther King Jr. Very deep🤗💪🏿🤗
Lmfaooo this comparison wild
Stellar.
My neighbor just pulled up playing Mama's Gun.
Peace to Sankofa.
I love pure, open and vulnerable conversations. This was beautiful!!!
This broke me down yall. I’m grateful to be allowed in this experience. As someone who is learning the big lessons of letting go and mastering how to be the beat of my own life… this sounds like wisdom for me to keep growing even if the unknown is scary yet to see and hear Badu remind us the fullness of infinite possibilities. This feels like the sisterhood I needed and a mothering ear. Thank you Yah and everyone involved to get me to break down like this lol soul freedom for real!
That bbl broke me down u got smh 😪
This video made me so emotional. Our culture is starved of conversations like this and it feels like a relief to hear this 🤍
I'm South African and in my home language, sisXhosa, we have a word for the invisible umbilical cord. It's called "inimba". 🥰
Badula ! How can you NOT love her. One of the most non judgmental spirit of our time! Peace Queen
This collaboration was beautiful, the way they flow and the vulnerability & gentleness between the 2 is true love.
No shoes! I love you.
Sometimes, it's like hitting rock bottom, too. Speak Womans!
My heart is so full after watching this! I want all my conversations with Black women to sound and feel like this. ❤
Thank you for sharing your space and time with Badu with us. Thank you for the music !
👀👀 legendary
Marlanna...Damn...No wonder you named the album: Please don't cry...Truly profound....You got me crying over here queen damn
That what sisters are for love ❣️ and wisdom.
Two of my favorite artists. Better than majority of these artists out today. Especially the little so and so's, and such such's.
This is beautiful.
Erykah has on her bells iykyk 🥰 love these queens having meaningful conversations
she has to be the most mesmerising beautiful woman. her feminine essence is magnetic. ugh! what a complete balanced beauty
The way I'm weeping, I'm convinced I just need an elder to rock me back and forth in there arms❤
Also won't mind a "magic rock" to clog the damn that's overflowing in my life
Grateful to have lived long enough to experience this greatness.
It’s 3am somewhere 👁🤞🏾🔥
@Louis trichardt Makhado ❤🔥
I need that cap Rapsody
The conversation is so colorful and beautiful , ....deep in this black and white show....
Greatful For the Lessons
That I've learned.
From The People that I've Loved
And Have Loved Me.
I can relate to going against what you said you would never to do to protect the other person.. that part hit me like some bricks dropping from the sky
Yo Rapsody! I love your work! When I seen you perform at this Grammy party LIVE, I was locked in. You’re the greatest female MC idc 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Vulnerability! Rap looking so good! Cant wait for the album!
I love you Rapsody
“I’m finna go DJ, you wanna come?” -EB She so dope lol😂
🔥🔥 conversations by 2 Queens 💪🏽💪🏽
2 beautiful women who happen to also be amazing artists!!! What a wonderful birthday gift for me❤
This was so beautiful. In a time where there seems to be alot of battle of the sexes going on, more conversations like this are needed. Its important to talk about love ❤
Love is the drum... You gotta get on beat. Thank you for this conversation. It's such a reflection of my life right now and it felt like I was there with y'all. You two are my favorite female artists and this is definitely a dream come true. It makes me more confident to pursue the direction I'm going with less apprehension and fear. The possibilities are more exciting to me now! I love you both soul much. Thank you both for contributing to my life with your music and wisdom! Blessings! - Tizzle
❤so much love strong woman with soft beautiful hearts

I enjoyed this conversation. Yall are both such beautiful human beings!!
That "giving" part...Rhapsody We said it at the same time! #TRUTH
🫂...Sinop said this album is incredible
I can't wait to hear it...
15 seconds in and I’m balling because I just realized I don’t have unconditional love for myself 😢
This was so beautiful 🥹 as humans we just want to been seen and hearing relatable stories makes us feel seen. So many gems within a short watch.
more genuine conversations like this👏🏼
This is everything. I feel like these conversations are primary and the music compliments the conversation. Beautiful
Love This Exchange. The Vulnerability. The Wisdom. Thank You Queens for the Energy.✨️
Great dialogue. Love Badu
Erykah is a Pisces so I always feel connected with her. If you know u know
🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 MY QUEENS!!
2 of my favorite artist having a honest raw conversation Is perfect for tonight’s sesh.
I relate to rapsodys tendency to give , hoping that it would get me someone’s love.
But nothing leaves you empty like pouring into empty cups.
Do a conversation with Lauren London.. I’d love to see one like that as well
If someone keeps giving you don’t have to take. Love is seeing that the person isn’t aware that they could be taken advantage of through continually giving and then helping them see that they can have boundaries with you and others. Protect them and show them that they can treat themselves well and with respect until they can do it on their own. Then you love the person they become if it’s healthy for you.
the calming energy they both radiate is so refreshing and inspiring
This reminds me of what Love looked like for me in a moment in my life. Truly Grateful for this.🌻🦋🗿
This is a very loving and endearing conversation! When I speak to younger people they always thank me for not judging them. When you are older than someone that does not mean you get to talk at them. We all can learn from one another. When you speak through love a natural healing process happens. This is a beautiful exchange of respect and love.
"Hell Yeah,That's 👑Queen Erykah Badu Much Love To You 👑Rapsody✊🏾💪🏾💯✍🏾"...-👑Revelation.©️®️♾️✔️
