One thing I have learnt from listening to this man is never to cast aspersions on someone's character unless you've afforded them the right to listen to what they have to say thoroughly. I must say I am glad I stumbled on this video to listen to this man. Based on this interview and having to listen to him speak, I must say this man is light years above some of his contemporaries. Not only is he eloquent, but he also speaks so plainly that even a typical average Nigerian can understand him. He's erudite, deeply sensible and fair-minded. As a Christian, I support him wholeheartedly, and rightly so for calling that utterly cretinous religious charlatan called "fake" Pastor Sulaiman a clown. I would like to see Nigeria promulgate and install some of the religious policies of the President of Rwanda, Mr Paul Kagame, where certain strict conditions are met before you can become a religious head. Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, in me you have a fan.
Freedom of religion is not for manipulation or disrespect God Almighty and killing other innocent people in the world who is not the same religion with you.
you have all these sense to control religion, make laws to control religion but u don't have sense to improve the live of Nigerians, give us laws that will gice us constant power, laws that will give us good road, health care and infrastructures. no sense. u have sense but direct your sense in the right directly.
Don't mind that noise making person in the name of a governor.... Apostle Johnson Suleman has branches all over the world but u re known only in one stupid dirty state to make noise.... Mr man repent
"A State does have a right with regard to churches (religions). It does not have the right to legislate the internal constitutions of churches (religions) or to organize them in accordance with its own views, in ways it deems advantageous to itself, that is, to prescribe to the people or command beliefs and forms of divine worship (ritus) (for this must be left entirely to the teachers and directors the people itself has chosen). A state has only a negative right to prevent public teachers from exercising an influence on the visible political commonwealth (civil society) that might be prejucial to public peace. Its right is therefore that of policing, of not letting a dispute arising within a church (religion) or among different churches (religions) endanger civi lharmony" (IMMANUEL KANT in The Metaphysics of Morals 1996:103)
I am intrigued by this man. He eloquently explained his point. I am so impressed.
