The Luma noise part of the update is exactly what I was waiting for, for a really long time. While I appreciate the dreams aesthetic, I always wanted a way to make flat color and make games “not feel like its made in dreams” if that makes sense. Like its official from somewhere else. I actually had no idea this part of the update would be controversial, the option to have the luma noise to be normal is still an option.

Solid color might be very interessting to save up performance & RAM. For simple geometric objects you might simply use low resolution with solid color on them - and they wont look low resolution.
You know what dream needs... Tutorial posting... If they allowed US to share tutorials while we are sculpting like with Their tutorials then I think we'd ALL benefit from the new abundance of content to reference from in game... Plus imagine if they separated the animated movies and music dreams with their tutorial video system, I feel like it would clear up space for more games to be played and would be easier to organize EVERYTHING in the game when it's so hard to find what your looking for
Basically tutorials, movies, and music run like in the Separate part of dreams sculpting where you can turn on their videos while you work and have it run like a playable media platform... I know other dreamers with TH-cam accounts have said things similar before. I really think a major update like that would draw in a bigger fan base and keep us
Oh that's easy! Have a tag on your target, then put a follower gadget in your attack timeline. Make sure to pick the tag that's on the target, and that should do it!
Yo mate, so how I did it was as follows. I made a tree sculpt and then made a copy. The first tree is set to movable and has three gadgets: a gyroscope (to keep it upright), an impact sensor (to let us know when it hits a surface), an emitter (which emits the copied tree in its place when it hits the ground), and a destroyer (which destroys the first tree as soon as it hits the ground). So the first tree has all the logic in it, while the second tree is just a sculpt that is emitted by the first one (make sure the second tree is not movable). 😁 The reason I did this is so that the trees we bake into the scene don't have any logic in them and reduce the thermo costs in the scene. If it's a bit too complex, I could always do a lil tutorial on it 🤓
@@meanlad Yes that would be amazing! cuz me and some others are creating a starwars fan game, But we have alot of planets to make and this would be rlly usefull. so a turorial about how to make it would be amazing!
Yo mate, animation cancelling is super chilled 😎 1) Make your animation on a timeline 2) Set playback mode to Sustain 3) Add a counter gadget, when the counter is full, power the timeline and restart the timeline 4) When the timeline is finished reset the counter 5) Connect your desired button (like square) to the increase count input (this will fill the counter and begin the animation) 6) Choose another button (like circle) and connect it to the decrease count input (this will make the counter no longer full and immediately stop the animation, i.e., an animation cancel!) 😁😍
Yo mate, as our homie over here mentioned the whole sculpt becomes an individual painting. You can cut a sculpt into multiple pieces before hand and turn those into paintings but after they have been converted they become one painting 😎🙏🏻
@@meanlad Thanks again , I've had long term experience with polygon mesh n morph editting software so adapting to flecks has some friction to ideas on how I preplan thought into shaping sculpture ,Somthing like using paint physic properties to simulate organic bending between puppet between limbs , I also like that solid square fleck addition imagine if they add solid triangle fleck next we could make paintings appear as prestine polyhedrons or platonic solids .
You could use a mover, use a timeline and make 2 keyframes, one where mover has no speed and one at the end with the desired top speed. Then change the easing to linear or whatever you like

With convert sculpt to paint can individual flecks of the paint be cut / dissected in paint mode or is it considered single stroke ?.

Hello there! I was wondering if you could do a tutorial for running, but the run procedurally speeds up, just like sonic.

the paintings are more expensive than the sculptures so..
