afaik this isn't too uncommon in the industry. adults are easier to work with, especially from a legal standpoint. i even remember being a kid and finding out some young boys in a cartoon were actually voiced by women.

I really hope that at least Omega survives this season and that we will get a chance to see her in a future project. Though at one point, she did say that the future prospects of the series changed for her in the final episodes. 🤔
might just mean she won't be the actress playing the role in the future. if they introduce her in the Mando era she would indeed be much older so maybe she was expecting to play the role live action or animated content in that era but now they're going to cast someone else. Maybe fellow New Zealand actress Lucy Lawless??

I love just how much her natural voice sounds like the character. I’d like to think the other clones who join up with Rex’s proto-rebellion in Season 3 likewise end up self-exiling themselves (but deliberately separating from Rex’s trio, either out of disappointment for his failed leadership, or out of pragmatism in shaking off Imperial search parties).
Hunter and Wrecker dying seems likely, but Omega will likely continue. Mainly because Disney won't have the balls to kill a child in an animated show, plus she's a great character that can do so much more later on

The voice of Omega’s sister Emerie Karr, is a legendary New Zealand actress named Keisha Castle- Hughes. She played Paikea in the movie Whale Rider. I think they did a good job casting her.

I think it would be cool to see, but it would be extremely difficult to do in a way that fits the story well, doesn’t feel like overbearing fan service, and doesn’t require too much explanation. It would have to work in such a way that the character’s appearance doesn’t feel out of place to someone who hasn’t watched the Bad Batch, and they wouldn’t have to get too long of an explanation of who they are and why they’re there.
British Japanese? I could never place the accent, it's been annoying , it's stood out so much it bothered me trying to place it, especially since voice actors normally don't use their real voice. Weird, it helps me accept it more now, STILL a unique accent, like Australian European Asian coming from a little blonde clone.
