He should try phaltline from hpi I had one E Revo long time ago it won’t balloon then again I went about 50 mph on stock gear idk if could work with your new E Revo but it usually skate on road when it cool it work on hot day make it sticky on road
Were you resetting the gps after each run or just allowing it to save the top speed? Kind of nullifies the results of each run if you’re not resetting the max for each attempt.
My ervo hit 76 54 20 gears 2200kv leopard motor 6$. Thats good for my erevo. I can go faster I also have 2200kv hobbywing motor an castle yes the ervo do blow tires

You need 150c discharge batteries. Erevo is supposed to go 70 that’s not right
