    Great videos, a million times better than those put out by Salesforce which sound more like marketing than instructional.
    Looking forward to more of these!

    Love your videos! Great done and super good explained.
    Are you planning into doing a Journey Builder advance functionalities? For instance, Cloud Pages and/or API entry sources, Automation scheduling?
    I am also interested in understanding how Mobile Push Notifications work. How to set that up, what kind of account you need, and if you need necessarily an app, and so on and so forth :) Thanks for making such a helpful content!

    Any option to do practising journey builder without purchasing or any option to pay less for practising only? any deep learning environment to learn journey builder? Pls share your thought

    Great videos. Thank you. Question: How would you approach if you for example have an event where clients can book for (where event date is custom for the client)? I understand you can use wait by attribute, where the attribute is the visiting date. But in this video you say it is better to send them their first mail directly, so they dont wait in the journey. Does this mean you have to filter the data extension beforehand, so they meet criteria of e.g. 1 week before visiting date and then automatically enter journey?

    • @salesforcemojo
      @salesforcemojo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. The answer is yes, you want to filter prior to them coming into journey builder. Keep in mind journey builder can do those type of things but it was designed as a sending engine. Automation studio and filters are there for the segmentation piece.

    Hi Mojo! A quick question, is there a way to track who created / modified a Journey in Journey Builder? I don't seem to be able to find an option to see that.

    • @salesforcemojo
      @salesforcemojo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Marcus, to my knowledge in the UI there is not a way to see who created & modified a journey. Even the data views that give you slightly more information don't have the user specified (help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=mc_as_data_view_journey.htm&type=5). I have however had support pull that information for me in the past, so I believe the best route would be creating a case if you need that information.

    Greate video! I'm new to Marketing cloud and I just receive my access to our instance, just a question, I can't seem to find how to create new contacts? I would like to create some sample contacts so I can populate a sample DE with them and test a journey similar to what your doing in the video. Are there any settings that I should enable to allow to create new contacts? I even went through Contact Builder -> All Contacts, upon loading of the page, I saw a "Create Contact" button but then it suddenly disappear from the page. Seems like I do not have a specific my role or permission assigned to me. Any thoughts would be appreaciated.

    • @salesforcemojo
      @salesforcemojo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Kenneth, I would recommend you watching my content builder and data extension videos if you haven’t already. They walk through the basics of sending your first email.
      Generally speaking there is no reason to create contacts one off. You should create a test data extension with the correct fields, insert a few sample records, create your sample email, then send the email to the test DE.
      Once you send to that DE the records in the DE will automatically be created as contacts in Marketing Cloud.
      Hope that helps!

    Why nobody explains how to modify an attribute when a contact is on a journey? Let's say I have an async processing which I trigger from the journey, how can I evaluate the result of that activity later in the journey?

    Hello Mojo,
    Thanks for this great video.
    I have a question- How we can get the data of not sent users ( The user in the journey builder to whom email not sent) and what is the reason of not sent email?

    • @salesforcemojo
      @salesforcemojo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! There are a few ways to get that data but it depends on what you mean by ‘not sent’.
      If you have a decision split before the email and they went down another path and you’d like to identify which users went down that path, then you’d have to put a contact attribute activity on that section which would allow you to make an update to a data extension. You’d then be able to see who went down that path by filtering.
      If the use case is they all went into the email activity but only a portion of the users were send the email and a portion say ‘not sent’, then you can review who those users were and the reason under the tracking tab in Email Studio.

      @@salesforcemojo Thank you for this info. I am talking about the second case and there is no option in the tracking tab to see the data of the not sent users. we can track the sent users but there is no way I can find to track the not sent.

    Is it Journey Builder the same as Automation Studio?

    • @abderrahmanroundi2232
      @abderrahmanroundi2232 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, Not really, we can use automation studio to automate a process. For ex: Sending every day at 08h AM NewsLetter based on data
      we receive from BI team to a specific Segment of customers.
      But for Journey for ex, we can do the same, but with more precision, we can controle for example the customer reaction toward the Newsletter
      (like: Open, Click, bounce), so we can imagine if the customers doesn't click on the Newsletter we sent to him, after 1day we should resend the same one, if he clicks, after 2 days we
      send to him a new newsletter etc.
