I am always interested to get your suggestions, thank you very much for the lovely songs. Here are my recommendations: 1) Queen Mary, Francine Thirteen 2) I don´t know where I am going , Luna Keller 3) Ohema, Victory, Crayan&Bella Shmunda.
"Human " by Sevdaliza. First time I listened last night with Focal Bathys, kinda put me into a visual kaliedescope trance, while I lay in bed in the middle of nowhere Saskatchewan. Memorable when a song can hit so hard in strange locations and knock me off balance to a different audible induced reality. Cant wait to get home to B.C to listen on my system. while I lay in bed in the middle of nowhere Saskatchewan.
It is s great idea to bring in gresh ideas. Guests are welcome. Unfortunately this set doesn't get my vote. As per my observations: Not because of music style.....because of bad recording. All songs are waaaay over-compressed (thanks to the loudness wars😂). My VU meters are standing still, zero dynamics. Your very first set on the channel was the best. Ill tune in again next time. Regardless, thank you Gaby&Lemon for recommendations.
Thanks Lemon, I am looking forward to giving them a listen. Some songs I put together the other day. Harvest by Opeth, Nirvana, where did you sleep last night, Duendo by Bozzio Levin , Stevens, the dreamer overture by Neil Morse, South of the line by pitch black, opium by dead can dance, pythia by Amanti, Nutshell by Alice in chains, long gone days, by madseason, golden rust by Robert Miles and Seasoning by. Chris Cornell. I just made a big list of reference songs together last week but a lot of them are bass , bass drums and some aren't traditional songs so I didn't list them. Thanks again Gabby and your Beautiful friend Lemon
@@Gabster1 no problem, there's a lot of different types of music. I have some rock bands but it's slower and some acoustic but it has some good qualities in the recording.
Check out "Roll Downs" from Fat Coda Studios from their "Drums for Modern Dance Class" (not the "Horton Technique" version of the album). Check out of his other songs too. Excellent recording SQ wise. If you like this stuff, also listen to Brent Lewis' Drumsex album like the songs "Dinner at the Sugarbush", "Temple of Love", "Sweetheart", "Sex, Drums & Rock 'N Roll".
I recommend Torches, by AntaraTunes. Perfume de Gardenia, by Cascada de Flores. Nothing Else Will Do by Bill Lanphar. The Whole of the Moon by Glen Phillips.
Not much appealed to me let me suggest Natalia Lacunza: Whole Album: Otras Alas The Milk Carton Kids: You Break My Heart Linda Ronstadt & Emmylou Harris: Sweet Spot
Audiophile to seperate a great DAC from an Amazing one (listen for mouth noises and micro details)- with all my love, melanie de biasio Chill Trancy stuff (fav tracks are around 7,8,9)- resonant heart various artists Rap (cool modern tracks, not necissarily well recorded)- Lex Bratcher, Chop Style. Roll Call, Tech Nine. Death to mumbel rap, Gawne.
I am a fan of covers that are well mixed and add dynamics that weren't in the original, T-Pain's live cover of Crazy from On Top of The Covers, Atreyu's cover of Like A Stone, Ballyhoo!'s cover of S.T.P. from Sublime, Norah Jones live cover of Black Hole Sun.
i have a question of the number lapalux , without you. i wanted to buy a cd from lapalux , so i was listening on youtube for different uploaded files to hear if i liked it , and i noticed cracks and a slight noise in this particular number. are the cracks also present on the original cd ? thanks , chris
Hi Chris we listened to the Tidal very and it has the cracks at the beginning it is cool as they sound like they are behind you to the right if you have a well setup system.
@@Gabster1 hi Gabster , thank you very much for the update , i like your channel very much ! i will try to find out why i notice the crack right on the front side . but i think i no longer want to buy the original cd , cracks do not belong in top quality music , but that is just my opinion.. have a wonderful day! :)
Fun to see a young person getting into Hi Fi and a different perspective. Thanks!

That's a good idea!

Try the album "Dawn", by RY X. Very immersive.
Thanks

No cowboy junkies or am I old 🤷♂️
You Tube limited short Lapalux 😮
@@CarlVanDoren61 you should try tidal, they have a big selection of music and it's not compressed like u tube.
You can hear all the instruments in the song. There are maybe 4?
Great topic, but you need some better music.
suggestions , please ?
