Hey Tucker! I was a 9year qualified paraglider pilot, but had to give it up due to an unrelated injury to my rt knee. That was back in 2005! I've been watching your for a few months now and followed you on your van life tour there. Watching you fly, brings it all back. It seems like only yesterday that I was soaring the ridge above my house, or being launched thru the hole in an inversion up to cloudbase. What a rush! I can still feel the pull of the canopy, setting up a reverse launch and hauling it above my head. Making a bee line to where the crows are spiralling and joining them in the thermal. I just love watching you! From Alva in Scotland.
So impressed the way you keep inventing this channel. Everything progresses 10 fold with every post. The video, the editing, the overall quality and clever ways of keeping us anxious for the next crazy or informative thing you come up with. Keep up the good work my friend!
been watching your videos for a little over a year now I'm guessing. I always hit that Like button before even watching the video that's because I have never watched a bad video from you. Always learning something off you even tho I don't Paramotor, still interesting and the beautiful Shots you get are awesome.
Misprint on chart 4.6 there: 2.5% oil = 40:1 (actually 39 to 1), 2.0% = 50:1. 😉 I'm really diggin' that new camera - adds a whole new dynamic to the vids! That's about as close as we can get to actually being up there. The clarity when you zoom in is AMAZING! 👍👍 I like the way paramotor manufacturers do their break-ins - much quicker than the motorcycle industry, where they want you to go no higher than a certain RPM for 500 miles, then a higher RPM for 1,000 miles - here in the Northeast, that can take months! I broke in my 2-stroke RD350 by premixing the tank in addition to the oil injection, then just firing it up for the first time, blipping the throttle to 3k for about 5 minutes, letting it completely cool, and repeating that a couple more times. Then I hit the road, accelerating moderately, then coasting back down slow, then cruising at varying RPM to let it cool, then another few cycle of that, come back home, let completely cool. Then I'd head out again and do it a little more aggressively 3-4 times. After that, I'd avoid long wide-open runs for the first tank of fuel. Finally, good to go. No issues in 6k miles. Great vid brother! Love the technical stuff, especially engine related.
After we landed last night, Jean Francois was finishing up his MY19 swap over on his Scout. I listened to his break-in from the campfire. As I was setting out my gear this morning, I video’d him blast off from X35 for the continuation of his 6000 mile trip. That’s trust. Go Vittorazi!!!!
To each his/her own. It's a free country and some of the rest of the world is free too, so buy something else... Personally? I enjoy the thrust to weight ratio and the zero problems I've enjoyed in spite of my generally lackluster maintenance regime that barely even bothers with the simplest of tasks.
Thanks very much for this vlog. Perfect timing as I’m picking mine up tomorrow! So excited as my first new motor. Parakeet Maverick with a Moster plus. 🤪
Love your new camera with the smooth in-flight shots. It is looking super professional and high quality now almost like you are shooting out of a helicopter with big budget cameras.
Hi all.. Break in the motor.. Rings and bores need to bed in.. As oil seals... Trying to simplfy... I work in Noway oil industry... Theres a reason why you do this. Keep up the great vids.. As i love the air vids... Looks AMAZIN..!!! Keep up the great work ;)
Hey loved the new intro brother. Good work! Also the stabilized Osmo footage was waaay better in this video than in the last , so nice job making the right adjustments on that. Always love the vids, man!
Great vid and happy to see this worked out with the new motor swap -- but lets be realistic, and with the greatest respect, point out that they did a motor swap for you because of your 815k subscriptions. I am pretty certain they are not doing this for Joe at 100 subs! They will have guys like us send it into them for service on our coin! Safe landings to all. Cheers
Scout has such a beautiful exhaust sound. Not high pitch like my Blackhawk-90 (same as Mark Honeycut's). Scout is more low pitch, which is less irritating for both pilot and the people on the ground.
TG.... Question. Who's taking care of the North East in terms of training lessons? I think you're the man for that job. Give it some thought. You love what you do, you know how to fly, you're great at fixing/repairing, you speak well, you, I can go on and on. Plus, there's plenty of space there at the park where you launch. Peace!
I've thought about it. If I started training, I really wouldn't have time to make these videos or travel. Maybe one day, but I'm happy doing what I'm doing now. 😊
came across your videos and i’m amazed to find that your the mad man paramotoring at huzcko! so sick that a local has a cool channel.. even cooler that i recognized where you were !
My garage looks like a hobby store full of rc planes for 30 years, trucking for 20 years now, and paramotoring confirmed I am still a kid. @@TuckerGott
As always, super video man!! You said your break in mixture is 50:1...? Adventure said to mix it 34:1 for the first 4 gallons... After I was having all of my problems, the dealer said to go to 40:1 for the rest of the burn on time, then go to 50:1... Strange, eh?? Oh, love the new intro as well!! 👍👍
I was surprised to see 66:1 with the Motul 800. Prior 185's were 40:1. Can you comment on what changed on the '19 motor that enabled this major change in oil ratio?@@TuckerGott
Holy crap that double foot drag looked like it could have ended badly at any millisecond!!! Amazing flying. Great footage from the Ozmo cam too. Could someone develop something between a trike a foot launch for take offs and landings. Maybe something like a snowboard with rollers that could also double as some sort of flight control system... Hmmm how about a Big Wheel?
You should do a video where you talk about real life issues like why you choose van life and about relationships while you paramotor. Sick video and channel doe!
i always break my new motors in with good oil, good fuel, and full throttle :D, but i ride a motorcycle, guess we use similar motors to some degree though.
Super stoked for the next episode, launching on ice skates. Will there be carnage? Skis next? Roller blades possibly? Stay tuned! - tuckergott.com/
I really like this vid and I am dining
Ooo looking forward to that
Hey brow
@Raab Almeida me segue lá 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

Big fan on following manufacturers recommendations.

There is really no way of knowing. I would expect the same warranty support for anyone, honestly.
This is soooooo cool!

Living vicariously thru you, that looks really fun!
This guys is lit af🔥🔥🔥😲😲😲
*just casually flying* *engine falls off* not again!
There's a video somewhere of a guy launching and his engine legit falls off. The look of defeat on his face is hilarious. 😂
@@TuckerGott How much does a new motor like this one cost Tuck?
Chute up and straight, full power, exhilaration of liftoff...engine falls off - I hate it when that happens.
@@beezytalkingshit9319 Around $3-5k.. Which is insane for what it is.
@@savage101. Wow!
That stabilizer you are using on the cam is AMAZING! Planet Earth stuff.
Dude you make flying that thing look so effortless. I would really like to learn.
That you do is amazing bro.
So fresh!
point for trike! being able to wedge your front wheel against a wall and chill through the break-in. :). Great vid!
That's a fresh intro!! 100%
Motor and prop sounds good !
Loving the new intro!
Editing out the take offs always bugged me. Keep them longer thats the best looking part!

Weird! Is that with Motul 800? The screenshot I used in the video is apparently the "updated" manual but the old one says something like 34:1.
32 to 34:1 would be a break in ratio for the first hour. After that use what they call for...i.e 50:1
I was surprised to see 66:1 with the Motul 800. Prior 185's were 40:1. Can you comment on what changed on the '19 motor that enabled this major change in oil ratio?@@TuckerGott

Mate, you're a Bloody Legend, you've got Balls of Steel!! I'd love to do what you do but I'm scared of heights, I just subscribed to your channel!! 👍😁
As you know but some fans might not is that the break in procedure is also done when you replace a piston and rings.
You make it looks so good, sick new intro!!
That does look fun.
Tree for break in is good idea!
Sweet vid! Thanks!
Pretty good intro my guy, good work
Try flying through the Delaware water gap. I’ve flown through it a couple times and it’s beautiful
Love it! I GOTTA learn how to edit : )

New intro! Whoop whoop!
Man that looks so fun. You make the take off look easy. I would probably have roller blades on so I don't have to run cause I'm lazy like that. lol
I'm waitin on the Risky Bisquits Speedo to drop for summer. I might need to get some waxing done but thats ok too....
So cool to realize this guy ain’t far away, hey man if you ever go to Ossining in west Chester feel free to land on my roof 😂
