Nice to see a bank holiday Monday video from you this morning Nick 👍 I've never seen metamorphic force before either, I'm sure the name rings a bell but deffo can't place it, one of my favourite Konami 4 player beaters used to be Vendetta, but they are all well worth playing imo. Thunder cross 2 is a great pcb pickup, it's a game I only played many years after release, I don't really remember it from the arcades but there were so many games back then I could have easily had the odd credit and simply forgotten it. Xexex, same as above but do know it from the psp port and thought it was a cracking game, love that organic style as you mentioned like x multiply too. You never played gradius in the arcades, must me April fools day as I don't believe that 😂 thankfully I played loads of nemesis bitd on seaside trips as we tended to see at as, same with graddy 2 / vulcan venture, couple of my personal favourite shooters, gradius 3 though I played more via console ports and definitely enjoyed it. Wise words on twinbee, just a fun game, nothing too serious, yet another two classics picked up with the parodius games , you weren't joking about it being a konami special were you, tons of AAA arcade pcb goodness 👍

Vendetta is also great for the time, Konami kept bringing out belters, TMNT, X-men and the Simpsons were the big ones for me, must of fed the machines so much just to get through to the end of the game 😂 Lol, seriously I have no memory of playing the original Arcade version of Gradius back then, i think manchester airport might a Nintendo multi game cab with the Nes version that I had a quick go, but thats about it, For sure I f I saw it I would of played it ! but it could be a case of the old memory banks giving up 😂 😂 😂 😂 Yeah I am super stoked with all the games I picked up, after getting the Mister and with all the crazy prices now, I am super selective what I pickup ! take it easy mate !
Anyone that can crush darksouls games can cruise through the majority of shmups if they put in the time, I am sure you are being your modest self mate ! Ive never heard of Metamorphic before Nick but thought it looked really good Same with Xerex, hadn't heard of that either, i really missed out on not playing shooters back in the day I did play Gradius III a bit on the SNES, i really like that version, still think its good, the arcade definitely looks harder🤣 I love how colourful Twinbee games are and they sound cheerful, there maybe better shooters but they have a definite charm Paroidus again, looks and sounds absolutely fantastic The Windy is magnificent Awesome collection there mate, hope you're well 👍
Hey James mate ! yeah metamorphic force is definitely a looker, they only gripe I have is that it needs just a few more variations in henchmen, just to make it feel a little less repetitive, but still definitely worth giving a go. They did an amazing Job on the SNES version of Gradius III, was one of the first games I had on the system, I just remember being able to easily get through the first 3 levels, mind you we had a bit more time focusing just on one game, so I probably put a shift in ! I am really happy with the Windy ! its the perfect colour for your game room Mate ! It is a bit of a mess inside which I need to sort out, but the exterior is in great shape, only a few minor cigarette burns on the panel🤣 but i feel it's battle scars give it some character from surviving a Japanese arcade 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 hope you are well too mate, I am looking forward to watch some VRs😎👍
You must have got that Pcb from Lauren whose father passed away? We managed to get loads of cabs and Pcbs from that place if you remember the video I did. Some fantastic pickups mate and I know it’s very difficult to resist when a good deal comes up especially when the games are that good. Great video mate
Yeah I remember the video and thats what I originally presumed, butI noticed that the seller was in Newcastle and I dint think that was where the raid was, so wasnt 100% sure its the same family. But I did miss out on a zero wing she put up, forgot to put a bid in, was gutted 😂 So this must be your new channel Alex, looking forward to the new content. Hey Tooty, yeah the arcade version of Gradius III has some serious slow down, the SNES version is a really good port, I am not sure if they added the slow down on purpose for a more authentic experience😂 Konami seriously need to do a capcom and release a beatem up bundle !
