The season you came to Ischgl in had a deficit of snow in Europe overall. With more than 80% of slopes in Ischgl being above 2000m the area is pretty snow secure overall :)
I travel to Ischgl every year from Detroit and fly into Munich. From there I take the train to Landeck and from there the Bus to Ischgl. Much cheaper than a car or a taxi
