just so nice to see Ronny and Harry buggering about again. Both channels have become more professional but it's more fun to be part of blokes camping videos. Tnx fellas
I'm gonna nerd out and explain the Viking+beer thing because I'm a massive nerd. Their beer was much weaker than what we have now, it was actually closer to those 0.5% ones we have. The reason they drank it is because they found if they drank beer instead of water they didn't get sick. That's because boiling is a key part of making it and they didn't know untreated water can make you have a.... "rapid retreat via the southern exit"
Fantastic episode and chat as usual, Love the camaraderie you guys have, maybe it is the Viking love of fire and food and beer that draws you two together. Loved the Fried food Friday series.
Get an old esky, drill holes, and the glue fly wire over the holes, maybe sandwich with shade cloth between. Make some super ice sticks out of plastic water pipe and end caps. Wrap your vegetables in paper.
What a classic it is to see you both together. Hilarious with a reasonable meal. More please guys... Maybe the snags that were talked about as an of handed comment ...lmao...! That with Damper for the bread rolls ?????
Hmmmmmm? As a Baltic Viking my opinion is that the potatoes and bok choy saved the day. More time and thought into the cross required. It seemed to need a lot of that rub sprinkled on it, not sure what that tastes like but in my opinion again the smoky flavour of the fire and salt might have been enough.
I can hear the conversation before rolling....we've had a few beers, but we've got to get this thing done. We've both been at this a long time, let's just wing it......OK!😂😅😂 Good suff! Cheers guys!🎉
If you need another Danish Viking salmon meal idea, I have one of my mums old recipes, no cooking of salmon required but a great companion for brilliant accompanying cooked side dishes 👍
You'll probably think I'm taking the p155 but there is no reason to scale salmon. Even if cooking skin on fillets they're undetectable and add to the crunch when fried skin side down. I thought I was being set up when I got told this but it's 100% true.
Hi Harry, as a Viking myself, I feel like I have to try this recipe. Which spice did you put on it? HFC? Greetings from Perth, West Australia. Cheers, Frank.
Wow Harry, all you had to do is put the Salmon in the oz brai and attach a stick with wire to the oz brai handle😅 you’re getting dumber by the beer bro🤣🤣🤣
Ronny is the perfect Viking. Although the comment "it swims; must be a fish" may be indicative as to no Vikings remain in The Top End. Because?? Because they think salties are just fish.
For the record. This is a modern take on a viking meal. It’s not at ALL historically accurate.
What an epic evening tearing timber, slashing meat and burning stuff.
And that meal was also epic.
PS: I wonder if that village is still on fire?
What?!? You’re not providing historically accurate documentary footage? The horror.
Nice to see you guys working together again.
Indeed... cooking videos with good friend "convos" really bring the camp cooking experience to youtube better.

This is the best "boys being lads/blokes/boys" content ever!
Absolutely love this episode.. two blokes, beers, a non cooperative slab of salmon… what could possibly go wrong..
keep it coming Harry
Two mates cooking a meal, what could be better?!! Viking style and all.

It’s always fun to watch you cook and make a meal. Love the “Viking” theme. Keep it up.
Great video mate, love seeing a new video of you and captain dauling.

Fantastic video. Excellent Viking tucker.

Always good cooking like a Viking
Viking! Great to see 3 legends on screen together! (Love Fred 😂)
100% going to try this Viking dinner
Good shit guys. I have Viking heritage in me and that was great. Cheers🍻 to you both
A meal fit for a Viking king 👍
What a classic it is to see you both together. Hilarious with a reasonable meal. More please guys... Maybe the snags that were talked about as an of handed comment ...lmao...!
That with Damper for the bread rolls ?????
I love the way Harry just loads on the spice shaker constantly without even asking Ronny if he wants some.
Thats because harry is now consistently drunk’n grub

My favourite Aussie Viking 😎

The Viking! Great looking chips 👍
Thanks guys, Viking!
Viking time wouldn't be so bad with meals like that
love a good Viking meal!
Love the green room Viking 👌🏻
awaiting for Ronnys bush dounuts
I reckon the Vikings would like it .
Fred like who invited the Viking? He diced me outta my salmon skin!?
Great video
This is what we like about you ...... your NOT afraid to screw meals up and not show it !! 😊
Viking = Book
That was so unprofessional, it’s awesome! Gimme a book ya VIKING! 🍻
Harry needs to start drinking more beer if he wants to be a Viking!
A meal fit for a Viking!
Bloody brilliant 😂
New drinking game! Take a shot everytime Harry goes to season somthing without taking the seal out of the container
Great comment
Harry is now a drunk’n grub
Forever appearance and behaviour of being smashed
Maybe AA
I did not realise Ronny is a Viking!!
Vikings in Valhalla sing your praises.
That Viking feed turned into 'gravelax' pretty quick
Viking!🎉

Food grade Viking shoelaces for the win.
Fish n Sticks with a dash of Ash😅
I wanna be a viking too.
A Viking would leave the skin on the fish :)
Viking🐬

Viking Hombre!
Gimme a book.

Because?? Because they think salties are just fish.
Viking archaeology shows that they boiled the food, they didn't waste the fat juices bbq/roasting it over fire.
i want to be a Viking....
Poor Fred no skin for the hero ❤
8:39 said no viking ever
😊😊
You should consider using Beef Tallow instead of vegetable oil. Way better for you and way tastier. A Viking would 😁
Vegetable oil is the worst thing on earth to cook with. Like margarine , it’s one atom away from plastic.
@merv190 100% it's nasty stuff. I haven't used it for years
The Vikings, if you haven't see the 1958 movie, you haven't lived.
How could ronny do fred like that, such disrespect! 😂
Cannot wait to try that seasoning and be a Viking and drink beer 🍻
Leave skin on to keep integrity while cooking.
Another Great video! Please stop like saying “like” so much 🥴
Comment “ Viking” 😀
Why is the viking drinking Italian beer??????????
I had to laugh but how many tinnies created this 'viking'video. Lol
I normally love your work and having Ronny on awesome but could have been far more informative with a little less muppetry.
Great comment
"viking"
Its blatantly obvious you have no training as a chef!
I’m looking at the NRL scores while watching this and so far Victor the Viking is having a good night
🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🎉🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥🍗🍗🍗
Should have left the skin on :)
Vikings didn't have potatoes or soy sauce and their diet would have been more protein based. That's why they were big bast**ds 😂
Going a 'Viking' originally meant raiding or adventuring.
The only Viking element was Ronny. Chinese greens? Western seasonings ? Not even Viking mead. Harry, this is a redo for me.
i thought Viking's like to ferrment there fish and eat it in the winter like Surströmming now that would be an interesting video
