Immense Bach, immense Feinberg
Music has this immense advantage to say incredible things without pronouncing a single word. Feinberg knew it.
Indeed.
Out of this world...
Yes. Out. And, I think, not in "another" world . Only floating in a promise of forthcoming silence .............
I adore Feinberg. Always on the lookout for more recordings of his, especially more Scriabin!
He plays with wisdom......
Up there with the great Bach transciptions of Liszt, Busoni, Petri, Kurtag, Myra Hess.
Feinbergs own music needs urgently to be rediscoverd, much like Medtner currently is.
Frankly, (with Dinu Lipatti), is it really possible to go further, or higher ? Frankly ...
I would like to purchase the Samuil Feinberg Recordings CD.
but it doesn't seem to be available now.
When will the CD be available again?
These are short-run CDs and that particular one is out of print. Contact me: classicalpianorarities@outlook.com for a download.
