I played this game last weekend. Pretty fun game, better than Oktoberfest or Houdini for sure. It felt more like a '90s vibe than a "modern" machine which I say as a compliment. My high score was around 150M but I am not sure how, I think on that try I focused on collecting weapons and the other stuff happened in the meantime. Got to Valhalla but didn't beat Odin. Is there a consensus on "the" tournament strategy?
Valhalla is a completely different feel than Houdini. More speed and shorter ball times. Rules are not too complicated on the surface, but once you figure out the strategies for the battles the points will huge.

What degree pitch do you have the game set at?
Did you up the flipper or sling strength from default settings?
7 degree pitch
Using default coil settings.

Looks good - tried to play one early this year but it was busted. Which do you like more, Cactus Canyon or this?
I like both games, but Valhalla is faster and more brutal.
