Honestly, at the moment I enjoy the 430 more than the 430U. I'm not an amazing player by any means, so it is probably the matchmaking (as with IX I get the better tier mm more often). One of the most enjoyable tanks I've ever played, but trollish gun handling indeed.
430u was a disappointment to 430 to me. 430 is agile, relatively fast, has armour and high alpha and it is flat like a stone.
I absolutely despise this tank most of the time. Armour is good, mobility is okay, good camo, good alpha. But oh my gawd the gun handling and accuracy is shit. It doesn't help that I have very bad rng in the tank. I shoot at weakspots at literally 25m and the shell just disappears into another dimension... It's so irritating
So true, I enjoy the 430 way better than 430u
I don't understand this enthusiasm about the 430. It has no vision, no gun-handling (let alone depression) and it's slow. And ever tried to pen something armor with AP?! The only thing you get in return for that is armor. That's not good enough. There are simply too many better tier 9 mt in my view

We have credit bonuses, but you have to chose tanks in Chuck missions, and on those tanks you will have credit booster :)
In other words: not on premiums.
@@eikonise Not rly, because u have to chooce some tanks from your garage, you wont have credits on all tier VIII for example in 1 hour :)
I'm saying you can't use the slots on premium tanks so the benefit of the credit boost is minimal.

Skill you are right. Every time I play the 430 my tanks get hit and catch on fire. Fire extinguisher is a must
I agree with gun, its not for sniping, but I dont recall fire issues at all, maybe a few till 430U. I will choose 430 over t-54 every day

-The driver is injured!
-the fuel tank is damaged!

credit bonus still applies to chuck slots. you can see the bonus when you have the tank selected in chuck slot.
Im pretty sure the difference between 140, T62A, and 430B back in the day was 140 had that extra degree of gun depression and good gun handling, T 62a had a better turret (couldn't be overmatched on the turret roof) and 430 had better hull armour and insane DPM
Yeah exactly now 62a is irrelevant as the buff to the 140 turret
Skill, one of the best things I found when I unlocked the 430 was that it starts with its top gun aka it's dangerous/ competitive straight away. No painful grinding to get a decent gun & as far as I know it's the only tier IX that does this. Obviously it's Russian hehe. Yes I used some auto fire extinguishers.
I found that with the Christmas bonuses the selected tanks still get the credit boost :D

It starts with top everything other then engine basically, and even the engine upgrade does very little. The track upgrade literally adds a little health to the tracks, nothing else, so you don't even need that. Easiest tier 9 grind of any tank.

I think preventive maintenance only hels against engine fire. I does not help against fuel tanks fire. Real life 50's era USSR tanks had one of the fuel tanks in front right side, where the radioman/machinegunner use to be in WW2 era tanks.

Also, if you put a vehicle in any of the blue slots, you'll get the credit bonus as well
Preventative maintainance is only preventing engine fires. Not fuel tank fires like in the 430U

Actually on Fishermans Bay I prefer the bushes around G3 from that spawn. You spot kinda more aggressive than the usual bushline, especially opening up peaks from your left if enemy already pushed. And you can hit a lot (and then better run backwards).
Great timing, I just finished upgrading the engine of my 430, next is tracks and, ...... I'm struggling with this one.... I don't run food and find gun handling truly terrible. T-54 is the better T9 imo. At least I have a bit more inspiration now how to play this thing!
The nicest thing about this tank is that you research it and boom, no turret, no gun to research, basically you play a fully pimped tank from the get-go.

I would have deffinetely reported that 277 sitting in the back and camping at your second battle. If he would made a push together with that 263 things may could have been different.

10:25 vehicle in these slots sill gets +50% credits but only when in slot

You still get extra credits with the tanks that are in the holiday slot, but with only those vehicles.
If i'm not mistaken, you do get the regular bonus AND the credit bonus as well for the Chuck slot tanks.
I read it wrong too, I thought the entire Christmas missions etc were going straight through until the end of Jan.
Yea it's a shame, I lost chuck's tank discounts because I thought they will stay till the end of the month and I didn't applied them. WG could atleast gave an warning to make us aware to the fact that we would lose them...

Any tank on a Holiday Ops slot will continue to gets credit bonus of whatever your max was (50%). In addition they get the xp/crew xp etc bonus

Me: 50% of the games takes less then 2 minutes to end
Stats before Object 430 moved to tier 9:
+ Highest DPM in the game
+ Very good frontal hull armor
+ Good top speed
+ Very high Camouflage value better than the Batchat 25 t
- Very bad -5 degree gun depression
- Very weak turret roof
- Very bad accuracy, gun handling and aiming time
- Very bad ground resistance on any terrain
Is there anything I miss ?
When you are burning from a fire, just stop and stay in one place, the fire should go out faster compared when moving.

@@Boz196 I found I had to play it differently than those two tanks. both the 703 and is3-2 you can play as true heavies, whereas the is2-2 you have to play as a hevium/support heavy. it's super against weaker heavies and meds, but can't compete with superheavies at tier 8 such as the defender, vk 100.01, 50tp ptr, and others.
Skill you have viewers thats made in China! Quality of things made in China now are much much better than before!
You still get bonus to credits till the end of the month. But you have to be in the Holiday Ops Vehicles you picked...And you can still change them out. It effects all tanks but Premium.. Which already get the Credit Bonus...
Day 17; I know, you must have been very busy in the christmas/new year season, but now you must be very excited to play with the AMX30b!
Holiday ops vehicles still have the credit booster, others don't anymore.

@@matej1083 Yes. And only the "Chuck" tank getiing credits you earned in the festive atmosphere (your highest percentage of credits you ever got, even if you destroyed all the Christmas decorations).
All 7 slots get the credit bonus you achived before the 11th

Preventive maintenance doesn't help with this tank. It only helps with engine fires. This tank loses gas tanks instead.

The obj 277 in the second battle has obvious brain damage.
Preventive maintenance prevents engine fire. Obj 430 has weak fuel tank like the lt 432 so preventive maintenance doesn't do anything. I mean that's one way to balance overpowered Russian tanks
Very powerful tank, i have 53% WR overall and i had 78% on over 120 battles with this tank, turret is classic russian un-penable, upper plate is trolish and gun has ruski accuracy and is hitting like a truck, on top of all that the tank is very mobile

In that last battle your team had 4 heavies being held off by just 2 enemy heavies. Idiots should have all rushed them together and killed them quickly. If they had just counted the enemy tanks on the minimap they would have known that the 2 heavies didn’t have any TD’s backing them up because the rest of the enemy team was on the far side of the map.

430 is literally the medium tank that I hate and cannot make it work... Gun and fuel tank.
if you have the firefighting skill in the crew and you dont have a fire extinguisher, the fire will went out earlier or you will keep burning?
Oh dear. If only there was a consumable that allowed you to, how do I put this, "extinguish" an engine fire? That would be handy.
And how about if there could also be a piece of equipment which could lessen the chances of an engine fire.....wouldn't that be amazing?

i use improved configurations on my tanks that had very weak fuel, engine and ammo rack.

Difference between obj430 and 140 (when 430 was tier x) was mainly worse gun handling/depression/accuracy, more dpm, better armor (without the previous turret top weakspot on the 140) camo was more or less the same on all of them.
Kinda like it as tier x, even so the gun reminded me of the stb, you pumped out shots like crazy but you missed more then you did with the 140.
Skill, why would you not take Camo on purpose?
You forget the Rules of Modern Warfare.
If you don´t have to be there, don´t be there: This tank has a reasonably accurate gun so you could snipe if need be.
If you have to be there, dont be seen: It has pretty good camo, why not boost it further?
If you have to be seen, dont be penetrated: It has pretty much HEavy Tank armor.
You can adhere to all the rules of Modern warfare in this vehicle, you should definitely skill camo, maybe not as a top priority but it´s definitely up there in the list.

430 back when it was at tier 10 had the most dpm for the russian medium tech tree tanks if im not mistaken but the gun handling was terrible
I really like the 430. in my experience I have not been set on fire much in it.

WG should be ashamed of themselves for castrating this tank. I’m surprised the gun doesn’t squeak with a soprano bang when shooting its gun. This a thing is really difficult to play - it reminds me of a light and has similar configuration as a Cromwell. WTF did WG do this???!!!

Didn't the Obj. 430's main advantage use to be its DPM, but with a less accurate gun?
Wg has in their article that they posted that the credit booster would be extended along with the slots. I bought 40 bucks more of boxes to get the booster up to 50% because I didn't want to grind credits for another couple of months and was going to finish out the month. Kind of BS that it is over with no bonus.

3:16 I do too, in all of my battles.. I think back in the days it was harder to get to higher tiers so more people had actual knowledge about how to play up there. What I see today is that I can't really expect shit from my teams. I got decent +60% wr, I mostly play the same areas on the maps with my tanks (depends on what type of tank ofc). When I go to these positions sometimes I do need help to gain full control over it. But somehow my teams prefer to play for and to own areas that are pointless. Often sitting behind ridges, buildings without any chance to do a damn thing in the battle. (So I have pretty much permanent chat ban now.) So my point is that, I can't adapt to it. My WR drops. I can't keep up with these. And what is the most terrible part of it, is that these players without any knowledge literally think that they do the right thing, they play better than me. Which is sick. They don't give a damn about someone with 60% wr. They think the person was lucky at best. So, I just don't know what to do. How to play nowadays. I can't adapt to this.
