Main reason why I am not big fan of STB is the fact that when I'm playing it everyone is penning me through the turret but when I am playing against I can never pen it into the turret
Kinda like a skill issue dawg, stb is one of those sneak peak on the hill, u can’t sit still like udes or krav, they are dummy proof. U don’t hang around on the same hull down position, u go annoy people
I dont play anymore, i was decent and one of the things that help is not overaiming, minimize your exposure and aimtime. RNG is too much of a factor to waste time chosing pixels. Get speed first and finetune your muscle memory with time.
I'm really happy you did this tank to show your point of view on it, and how you would play it. I'm the opposite, i prefer the STB over UDES, due to HP, and the mobility of the tank. But thats the beauty of WoT, one tank may not work for everyone, and thats something that keeps me playing.

sure, when in close distance, this tank has great DPM and okay turret. but at a bit more distance, this gun is derpy as hell, the amount of fully aimed but missed shots drives me mad.
I remember i berlin game where at 150 meters i shot my entire gold stack at medium tank turrets that would be pens but i hit 2 out of 24 and penned none but one shot of ap of all things
Love these live videos the positions and counters are explained perfectly. Also just knowing what the good flanks are on the maps I've never played before when I was on console. As a overaggressive heavy player I've found out of all the ccs Daki has the best content for me to learn how to play this game on PC.
Daki is the most underrated CC and hes one of the best players i've watched... i picked so many things from him that helped me improve my gameplay... so thank you Daki for everything, you deserve lots and lots of subs here and on Twitch! Kudos mate!
Since you are going the path of making high quality videos, I hope you can increase the bitrates in the videos that you make or simply post videos in 1440p so that TH-cam favors more with the bitrate and have crispier quality videos to watch
I run the experimental gld/irm module, bond gr, and bounty aiming and it makes the gun feel so much better. Actually allows further distance engagements and allows you to support close up and hit weak spots easier with normal ap rounds if you're on a budget. With food and directive, you get above 4k dpm which is nice.
The STB-1 is a very tough tank to play. You comment about how it's a great tank in all things but not at any one thing is spot on. The matchmaker isn't kind in many games but in this it's a lesson in humility.

Personally i have 3-4k per game 1 in 6 maybe 8 games so idk, i kinda thinking it's not my type because in many cases i made mistakes that costs me much hp, my hulldown doesn't work like others, my tactics again doesn't work well many times and ofcourse i don't have enemy teams like Skill or iyouxin have :))) for this tank, but somehow i refuse to think it's not for me.
I have the STB in my garage, but I still didn't learn how to play it properly. I will be honest with you and you may laugh, but I find a 140 so much better all around, except for the alpha and gun depression. I have a very nice crew im there and I dropped the config in favour of a turbo, so playing with turbo, bond vents and bond rammer. This allows me to reduce the reload when fully loaded with directive and food to 4.8s and the fact that the turbo makes it so much more lively ist just a bonus. It's not CS fast, but it gets around and works fine, allowing me to have 5k+ games very often. Can't get them every time obviously, but it does have the potential.
The main problem is hardening on everything. I used to remember tracking heavies all the time, then the dpm was a winner. Now people repair in 5.5 seconds and half the time you don't track them anyway.
I struggle in stb-1 and i know it's a skill issue.. But i force myself to.. To learn and improve a bit by bit And about dpm Daki use conway with 120 mm gun and get shoked about dpm..
DPM and "Effective DPM" (As I call it) are entirely different. Its easier to use the lower dpm of the udes 15/16 than the higher dpm of the amx 30b as an example.
I love and hate my STB. I love it when the gun works, but it's just insane when it does not, also, the suspension is annoying. I'd agree with the sentiment of Havry97, when I play STB, the opposite team appears to have gigachad cupola snipers. Thanks for the video, let's see some Udes KEKBye

Another great video and a tank that I enjoy but as with most of my other tanks can barely be average with. Dunno if you have done it before but any chance you could do one on the AMX 50B? If there is one already I must have missed it. Keep it up
I love it but of course it's hard to play as you never know exactly how your hull is tilted. I agree, but it's great in ranked against mediums if you can get a ridge. What about the 121B? In some ways its a Leopard with better armour and incredibly good pen
Some people seem to think the STB has armor when it doesnt, it has a low silhouette and ricochet angles when using its gun depression and thats different from armor. A chief peaks and it doesnt care if you are shooting HEAT or APCR, an STB needs to be very mindful of the angles, distance and type of ammo its opponents has. And on top of that it doesnt have a great gun, but it isnt meant to do alot of damage through reliably hitting shots, it does it through constant fire and just mauling opponents caught in worse positions. So if you're opponent is shooting HEAT, dont peak. Is he far away? maybe peak. Is he shooting APCR, then peak. Is he super close or slighlty above you? then dont. Missing shots? shoot more.
There’s such a thing as too agile and gun is a bit inconsistent. Just my feeling tried so hard to love this tank. Also you wanted the chieftain to go first but you kept poking on the inside lane. A bit touchy yeah but I get it
Me personally, I think Udes 15/16 is stronger than STB. STB is great but I can't tell you how many times I've beaten STB's in my Udes. Not to mention how easy it is to farm 5-6k+ avg dmg EVERY game. I just feel Udes is stronger due to the much higher alpha and debatedly higher dpm (not sure but udes has a lot of dpm, 7s reload for 440 alpha) and the fact that it is basically impenetrable hull down to 98% of things in the game. Vs STB having much lower alpha and lower brawl capacity and obv the fairly easy to hit hatches. That is just my opinion ofc, both tanks are extremely dominant but I think udes is much better
Personally I have no issue whatsoever with the gun being derpy or anything I love this tank, it hits, not that hard, but often in my case, shots connects good also good gun handling. Decent rather. decent GH decent mobi, and turret trolls you sometimes, but when played smart, it does the job. just don't stay static guys, it's not idiot proof. Not as much as udes at least.
Gg to the kran/amx platoon in the last game. Sitting in the back on a td position while their team died. That's the reason for many 5min rounds, and this game is filled with those useless cucumbers. I don't hate the game, I hate most of the players. They kill all the fun with their selfish "gameplay"
UDES is way better than STB currently. STB is still capable of farming lower tiers like there's no tomorrow but in tier 10 games, it just feels quite weak. Everything on this tank is unreliable. The same situation is happening with the Obj.140, even though 140 has more reliable gun and armor, it has less alpha so... The meta has shifted from hulldown to high-alpha hulldown. Versatile MTs are slowly but surely fading away. They are now neither good at sniping nor good at frontlining. All the love I have left for the game are Leo1 and autoloaders, sadly.
I got so frustrated lately I deleted the game last week, its literally Unplayable, I'm not going to reinstall any time soon, WG just ruined the game with the unbalanced changes, especially with their ridiculous stupid premium tanks they introduced into the game lately . I guess I'm going to follow by only watching videos , which is too bad 🤕😑
Never understood STB fanboys, imho Udes is just so much better. It's reliable in hulldown, gun is way less trollish than STB, it has sidescrape capabilities (unlike STB) and even great cammo values. The only reason I stopped playing the STB-1 is the gun tbh… idk man the 0.32 or whatever dispersion it has is just on paper.

I generally don't like playing STB and Udes 16 because of their automatic suspension thingy I end up shooting the ground many times.

heavies are broken in wot, they have not even a mobility handicap. An S. Conq irl takes almost like a minute to turn - if a med than 277 lmao

kajzoo is an outstanding player but he selled out pretty fast trying to spam everybody with mobile games nobody cares about.
