Panathinaikos fan here. Of course shocked and saddened. Absolute professional. Quiet, reserved type of person. Likeable and worked hard whenever he got the chance. In the France-Greece game, he beat Mbappe in most 1v1s. The only reason Mbappe got a high rating was because he scored a penalty. We didn't get to see him enough, and we always wondered why a professional with Premier League experience didn't get to play. There were no physical signs, no mental signs, nothing. At least not in the videos we saw. Or the games. He actually played on the weekend in the Derby of the Eternal Enemies, against Olympiacos. Everything seemed okay. Anyway. We'll find out soon enough. Thank you Connor. Nice of you to do that. And thanks to all Baggies and Blades fans out there. RIP to the man, and condolences to his family.
Sheffield Wednesday fan here , really sorry to here this sad news , it’s shocked both sides our city , great player , my condolences to his family and all the blades fans RIP ❤
George was so loved by the SU fans because although he was a southerner he always played like he was a SU fan, so passionate and psyched up to win, giving 100% every single match so his commitment could never be questioned no matter how he played, he was a definitely a player you wanted in the trenches facing a battle, played like he really cared and you could see he really hurt after a defeat. However off the pitch he was quite shy and quiet, a really nice humble intelligent man, again fans really feel a connection to players who are humble, down to earth and kind of normal. You know how fickle fans can be and when players refuse to sign extended contracts because they prefer to leave for another club, that player will receive insults however when Baldock turned us down to join Panathinaikos in Greece, altho we were disappointed he was leaving, he never received any negative comments and because of the person he is, we genuinely wished him good luck in his new career in Greece. PS: Good video and it proves that for most of us we're one football family.
Thanks for this video so devastated mate going to Sheffield United home game next to pay my respects I am a die hard blade but I am making sure to go there
@@WESTBROMFANTV thanks pal it all hope a little bit in this horrible time even Sheffield Wednesday fans are being supportive which shows the love from football fans and people like you
