- The Sikorsky SH-60 Sea Hawk is a twin turboshaft engine, multi-mission United States Navy helicopter based on the United States Army UH-60 Black Hawk and a member of the Sikorsky S-70 family. The SH-60B maintains 83% commonality with the UH-60A. Differences include corrosion protection, more powerful T700 engines, and an electric blade folding system, hinged tail and folding horizontal stabilators to reduce its footprint aboard ships. The SH-60B is deployed primarily aboard frigates, destroyers, and cruisers. The primary missions of the SH-60B are surface warfare and anti-submarine warfare.
Hi and welcome to another Heavy Metal Diecast Video. Today's example is another plastic model review from Easy Model. These are completed model's ready-made but instead of being diecast these are made completely from plastic. Today's example is in 1:72nd scale and is the Sikorsky SH-60B "Seahawk" US Navy, Helicopter Combat Squadron 4, the "Black Knights". I personally think this model is nice, these plastic renditions are almost as good as their metal counterparts but at much cheaper prices.
I'd like to thank you again for taking the time to check out our video and if you found it helpful at all and can spare the time throw us a like and why not even subscribe @heavymetaldiecast
All images/and or footage used with in my videos are owned by their original creators and are only used for a reference guide for viewers to compare against the model depicted in the video. The use of any images or video in any of my reviews is also used out of pure respect in regard to units and/or actual people. I wish to acknowledge all those that have served past and present with their respective nations armed forces with some making the ultimate sacrifice. Political ideals aside, it takes great courage and selflessness to answer your countries call. Thank you.
Cheers

I do have one of these Seahawks from Easy Model. They are nicely detailed for sure but don't look at it wrong or something will snap off & have fun with the repair lol. Dig the new intro music too 🤘🤘Still waiting for Hobby Master to start tackling some more badass copters. Probably good that they don't 🤔
haha, yes you do have to treat them delicately, I am extra careful with my ogre hands, haha. Haha thanks at least with this new inro music I will not get in any trouble as its from the TH-cam library!! I guess the bigger the channel gets the more TH-cam scrutinizes it, as the music was never flagged until we hit the 2000 subscriber mark, haha. If HM makes one of these you will probably expect to pay around $150 or more for it,haha. But it will look killer for sure though....more ways to spend money we dont have, haha
Nice vid mate 👍
Thanks, appreciate you taking the time to check out the video and commenting 😀👍
Um Super Helicóptero, Lindo modelo!👍👍👍
Its not too bad for a plastic version, although I do prefer diecast, these are a cheaper option for people though. Thanks for watching!!
@@heavymetaldiecast valeu 👍
These Easy Model versions don't do it for me. I think 45 Aussie dollars is still too much for what these are, they're not even as good as the Amercom ones, but I think your maybe a little more easily pleased than me! 😂 They could at least make properly spinning rotors! 😂
Some are ok, some can look a little average. Yes still a bit of cash paying for a plastic aircraft, but I factor on price of a model kit and then glue, paint and the time it takes to make a model it actually works around same value wise. Sometimes the Amercom ones go for some stupid prices too lately. I am easily pleased though that is true, haha. Yes the rotor alignment could be a little better. I do prefer diecast myself, but I like to check different things out. Thanks for watching 😀👍
