Codfish is awesome yes but when it comes to different techniques he is on a low level compared to dlow or napom, beatbox had a crazy Evolution over the last years
For all the “evolution” most beatboxers still can’t produce as complete a song or sing as well with such good transitions as Codfish. It wasn’t like Napom and D-low weren’t around when Codfish won GBB, he just showed you didn’t need complex techniques when you had good songs.
Watching D-low rise to the top has been nothing short of amazing. A terrifying battler, insane freestyler, awesome musicality and technicality. I know he is not competing in the next GBB but I'm hoping he is coming for the world crown at the world champs this year. Can't wait to see this legend battle again!
@@TigreAP thats great but sad at the same time xD i felt like he judges way in a more Open manner so a lot of experimentals Beats can succeed more, (for example in his zekka vs dilip kickback reaction he appreciated the flaws and overall groundbreakimg techniques of dilips ;3 i would love to see him on the Big stage again, probably he would do a judge Showcase so i'm excited for that!

D-low inadvertently and single-handedly dragged me into the beatbox rabbithole a couple years ago when he and Frosty were on a Sidemen talent show. Zerka then went on stream and showed the chat that D-low is a champion of sorts and I was in awe by the sheer talent, that really tickled my interest in a special kind of way and ever since I've been hooked on listening to beatbox and everything it has to offer. It's like discovering a massive but hidden genre of music. Pretty much all because of Dan :)
