    How do you advance those tubes of wax? Just cut the metal away? We have some at our shop and we're all perplexed...

    Excellent video! Being new to skiing, what surprised me is that the glide wax is scraped off after applying with the iron. Seems counter-intuitive. How much do you scrape off - is there only a microscopic layer remaining? If you had to change to a colder or warmer condition glide wax, do you have to remove all existing wax, or just apply the new type of wax on top?
