Dati pinagtatawanan lang namin ito nung highschool noong may role playing kami. Sinabi pa namin sa kaklase naming laging tampulan ng asaran na bagay sa kanya yung Sisa role (pero hindi bullying, you know what I mean). My tears poured down my face, I even read Noli Me Tangere during my High School/college years and I couldn't even remember the pain of Sisa but watching Maria Clara and such performance of Andrea Torres made me realize how brutal her story was and how injustices enfold her to succumb to her sanity. For Andrea Torres thank you for portraying it well you captured our hearts. Salamat GMA!

Playing a character that is slowly descending into the abyss of insanity and despair so convincingly takes an enormous amount of courage and fearlessness to tap into the dark and sinister emotions within. Never thought how hard it was to portray Sisa. She was like a character that you really need to give justice to. Now, I feel the pressure of being Sisa on our upcoming roleplay huhu, I just feel like I need to be better. Look how Andrea portray Sisa, gosh, I got goosebumps. I realize a lot of things, how hard it was for her to lose her beloved children that she really cherish.
Five years ago I almost lost my sanity when I lost my child, if it weren't for my family who supported me through out my recovery I would be like this too.. Then I saw this episode of Sisa and think how blessed I am that I was able to cope that darkest episode of my life .❤

This show made me appreciate Sisa even more. She had been through a lot of pain. She did not ask for riches and influence...all she wanted was her kids. They were her world, but they were taken away from her. 😭 Andrea's portrayal of Sisa wrecked my heart. It made me cry many times.

Tonight, GMA’s Maria Clara at Ibarra brought Sisa’s character to the next level, and viewers had the chance to understand the other side of the coin. Hindi ko kinaya ang bigat ng mga eksena. I think from now on, Sisa will no longer be a laughingstock. May this serve as an eye opener to everyone not to judge people based on their mental health.

Before, whoever portrayed the role of Sisa during our roleplay, some of us would usually laugh. When I was reading and studying this novel, my heart ached for her really. I was actually looking forward to watching this scene having Andrea Torres play her role. Now that I've watched it, nadurog yung puso ko kasama ng pait at pighati na nararamdaman ni Sisa (Andrea).😭 Superb acting; I am in awe!

I always knew during High School na ang Sisa character is a really deep character study of love, pain, and abuse. At always pinagtatawanan itong role na to. Emotionally draining scene, it seems like after the cut, Ms. Andrea still drown with emotions. The artists of MCI really gave justice to the portrayals of the characters. The cinematography, the storyline, the script are Chef's kiss!! Kudos to the director and staff of MCI.
