I've been doing this for years. Saved hundreds already. There should be a law where manufacturers are required to have refill plugs. Now that's something I would support and I'm not a big gov type

I'm so glad my printer has a refill plug. I mean its probably due to it being nearly 20 years old but its so easy. I hate the fact that they make printers without them.

NO it doesn't because of the tiny computer chips on each toner. year ago you could be chip resetters for this, but not any more that I know off - Thank you for the comment!

You're welcome! It's MESSY, but cheaper than a new toner - I have had good luck with some 3rd party toners' for 1/3 of the price of my HP Toners - Thank you for the comment!

What's a cip? If you mean chip, no in this model you do not have to replace it. You can disable the warning in the printer settings. Thank you for the comment!

A lot of printers have ways of detecting, like a chip, if your toner goes low. Preventing you from printing, until you replace the cartridge. Does this do that, or are you able to keep printing? Regardless of how many times you refill the cartridge? 🖨
Yes it depends on the printer, I have used Chip Re-Setter in the past for ink jet printer and my HP Laserjet will let me use refill and NON HP toner, so that is very nice. But something worth checking into. With a little Google search you can find a way around many "protections" like this. Thank you for the comment!
Some have gears that need to be reset before it works again after you refill but it's easy.
