Whew!! That's a lot of prompts to pick decks for! Amazing selections and a few I hadn't heard of. I love how diverse you are in your decks - everything from William Blake to The Zombie Tarot! 😊 Aww I'm flattered that Little Bird made it as your top nature deck! ✨🐦 Beautiful collection!! 🤎
Yes! It's preparing me I think for my collection Pt. 2 video I'm filming this week... 40 decks up ahead 😭😂 Thanks for watching, Shanna 💖 LB was an easy pick!
I looked into getting the LOTR deck for myself because I am a huge fan of the trilogy... BUT the moment I saw the first card on display when I was looking into getting it, which was The Fool, I immediately became totally disappointed and let down because I knew the perfect image "it was supposed to have" instead of the one that's depicted on the card. Long story short, knowing the stories too well prevented me from enjoying the deck. Since I have an emotional attachment to the stories, if the cards aren't depicted the way I need them to be, I get too caught up in why they're "wrong" (wrong for me, not wrong in general).🤦♀😮💨 I'm so glad you can enjoy that deck and work well with it, though!!
I definitely feel the same way about my Little Wizards Harry Potter Tarot... So much so that I've put that deck on the back burner for a while so that I can reconcile with it. Definitely agree with you! Thanks for watching 💖
HI Katie, I love the NOLA cat tarot, I bought it after you shared it with us earlier this year, and I love it! Such an amazing reader!! I don't have a cat but I love their energy and LOVE cat tarots
Aw! I love hearing about it being "out in the wild"! I met the creator randomly over the summer at a Meta Fest, and I really love her works. Glad it's resonating with you! Thanks for watching 🥰
Great video! Always love hearing your thoughts on decks! Power of Surrender is also my Ride or Die Oracle. Always kicking my butt or just plain ole good advice!❤tfs
How can you not have read the books by the man who wrote: *The night was railing against the morning of which it was bereaved, and the cold was cursing the warmth for which it hungered.* Please give the LOTR trilogy a read over your next long break. I don't think you'll regret it. RE: Symbolic Soul and Wild Radiance - both of these decks speak strongly to the second chakra, the chakra of our sexuality, our emotions and creativity. The color of the 2nd chakra is orange, a lot of which is in the Wild Radiance Tarot. You asked why the Q. of Cups in the Symbolic Soul T. showed breasts - she's the nurturing queen would be my take. The Symbolic Soul has now officially gone on my wish list and I don't even like B & W decks! Great video as always. I hope you and yours have a very happy and healthy 2025. Love, Donna ETA: Living in NOLA, I imagine I'm preaching to the choir but have you read Ann Rice's vampire books? If by some chance you haven't, I think you would really like them.
Hi, Donna! I've done some thinking over the years and the best way for me to enjoy LOTR is probably through audio since Tolkein wrote in a style conductive to oral storytelling. I have thought lots about it but haven't taken the plunge yet! I have not read Anne Rice's books; however, I have a student who is obsessed with them. She keeps asking me if I've read one, so I think that'll be one of the first things on my list soon! I hope you have a lovely New Year as well! :)
At the time my good friend was reading them (90's!) and really trying hard to get me to read them, promising me I would love them, I *hated* any type of fantasy, sci-fi, etc. HATED! Finally, because she was actually becoming upset at me, I gave in. Yes, I loved them, and I enjoyed reading them while I snacked on my crow. If you enjoy listening to books, then you might prefer the LOTR movies. They did a good job on them, staying true to the books.
love the Aztec tarot. Just wish we could get this in the UK easily. Postage costs are around 30 dollars, it just doesn't;t work. Is there a mass market coming soon I hope?
Wow! I wasn't aware that the U.S. to U.K. costs would be so high, but it makes sense because I've looked into buying Three Trees Tarot decks before and ultimately declined because of postage costs. No, I don't foresee a mass market edition ever coming unfortunately - The creator previously has stated that he's more into creating playing cards than Tarot decks. Thank you so much for watching! I appreciate you being here!
You have great energy… love your descriptions of the cards. Great intuitive energy, keep exploring!!
You describe the feelings well 🐾
Thank you so much!!! I appreciate you watching! 💖
