    Thanks for the interchange runs) Grew up in Russia, so have a lot of fond memories regarding MEGA/IKEA. Seeing it in a post-apocalyptic setting is so eerie and atmospheric. Love your sniping content!

      im curious, are the stores inside the mall the same as the ones you have in russia ?

      @@voidxmaze8695 MEGAs differ from city to city, but some stores are quite common, yea. Like "Kostin" which is a playful take on "O'stin", a popular clothing shop. Or "Knigoed" which is "Bukvoed", a book stores chain. The entire food court is a beautiful satire on popular fast food, e.g. burger spot = burger king.
      Goshan is Ashan, OLI is either OBI or Lerua Merlen. IDEA requires no commentary)
      Interchange was done pre-war though, so many stores are no longer relevant. And MEGA is now but a shadow of its former glory. Pardon my sentiments))

      If you want to know - pretty much yes. I mean, they are NOT 100% SAME as in the game. For example, Goshan (Ashan irl in Russia, you can google) is usually much bigger. That's a Russian food (+some other stuff) supermarket and i would say that its often the size of the whole in game Interchange building. But yea, most of those little shops are real ones and they are looking just like that. Two fun facts also:
      1. Gun shops in Russia exist, but they are kinda never the part of something. That's special places with high security and in real life Kiba would not be in such place.
      2. Pharmacyes are very common and they are almost everywhere. Because you don't need any prescription for most meds and you can freely buy anything from painkillers and IV injections to simple vitamins.

      @voidxmaze8695 some are, but since Interchange was done before the war - much has changed since then. MEGA (the real life ULTRA) is but a shadow of its former glory.
      Basically BSG have loosely modeled a bunch of real stores, including their general branding aesthetics and layouts, only changing the name. Often in a silly way)
      Goshan = Ashan, a French mall chain. Also Gosha is a form of a Russian name, so it's funny
      Kostin = O'stin, a clothing retail chain. Kostya is actually a name as well, so they've done it again)
      IDEA=IKEA, OLI=OBI and so on
      The entire food court is pretty spot on as well) Which is why this map is so haunting to me
