However it looks so much better on darker hair as it washes out on your hair tone. I love the warm tones and blush tones on you. Hey Josie, this was a lovely collection, it is fun that you are exploring so much colour this year, even as you still look stunning in whites and pastels. *Long Post Alert* I must say that your channel is changing lives. I'm not wealthy yet but I definitely value your advice on investment pieces and price per wear. There was a day I tried googling "elegant affordable fashion", then I googled just "elegant fashion", the difference in search results was striking! Many of the more expensive clothes had better fabrics, colours, cuts, they were much more flattering than some of the affordable clothes. It's something that made me think deeply. Before I found your channel, I was (and still do) following a blog called elegantwoman.org, it has edified me so much, because it not only teaches one how to dress elegant, but to also be elegant. Paired with your channel, I am growing as a student every day. There is another TH-cam channel I look at once in a while called "School of Affluence" by Anna Bey. My biggest takeaway from her is that as women we must level up and invest in ourselves. I think that is a good way to look at the world, rather than saying to ourselves "I can't afford it", which sort of shuts out possibilities, we should ask ourselves, "How can I afford it?" I may not be able to afford the premium price fashion and beauty products yet that you share with us on your channel, but I must say how grateful that I am that you do! I don't know how to take care of my skin beyond daily baths and moisturising, I do have troubled skin, but I do appreciate the importance of investing in a good beauty routine now (I'm also looking at other channels like Kaydee TV for how to grow and style Afro hair). Your channel has been a golden education for me, I don't know where else I would have learnt even half the things that I have learnt from you. You even got me looking at gadget videos on TH-cam for smart water bottles and smart coffee cups, so that I can do my part to reduce my use of single plastic items. I have a board on Pinterest called "Zsaqueline" (my real name Jacqueline), it is my online vision board. On several occasions, I have ended up opening a tab for Pinterest as you talk, so that I can look up some of the ideas you share and save the ones that I feel reflect my personal style. I'm on a quest, investing in myself through education with channels like yours, business channels on how to be wealthy (I love Project Lifestyle Mastery, Valuetainment and Dan Lok), I am learning how to build a business and be a brand. Hopefully 3-5 years from now everything will be different as I put in the work and be consistent. This post is just a roundabout way to say THANK YOU.
