I got the blue one 24 years ago and still have it. It's a piece of art, well built and huge.

Oh that's rad man! You're not kidding, the more I've looked at it over the last few days, the more I love it!

I recently found one of these on the local ads in Germany. It’s yellowed in places but that doesn’t bother me, I’m happy to transform him back and forth with care. Fantastic piece of mecha toy history, stands next to my Robotech Valkyries!

I had the red/maroon colored one and my brother hd the green one back in the 80s, both diecast. I don't remember the gun shooting everything. That's crazy becAuse my dad was also in the AF and my brother and I got ours when we visited Subic Naval base in the Philippines. We lived on Clark AB.

Oh rad man! I've never seen the red one in person. Military family life was cool because kids I would meet would have some crazy toys. I remember seeing Diaclone stuff when we lived in Aviano AFB in Italy, and when we came back over to the states, it was called Transformers. :D

1:03 This Gakken transforming toy has nothing to do with _Macross_ . It is the VF/A - 6 "Alpha" fighter / mecha from _'Robotech : The New Generation'_ (or originally the "Legioss" fighter from _Genesis Climber *MOSPEADA* ). The only connection to Macross is that this design was used in Robotech (and both Super Dimension Fortress *Macross* as well as Genesis Climber MOSPEADA were made by Studio Nue, with production by Tatsunoko).

It was still there as of a few days ago, it’s at a store called “Brothers Toys and Collectibles” located in Shawnee Kansas.
