Waiting for the next batch of $$$ must be the hardest part of renovation. I want everything done now, right away, need it by yesterday! Of course, i'm impatient. So if you got a mooring for a while, relax, enjoy the summer and do the work that is more relaxing than taxing. Hey, i was watching the movie "Rough Cut" with Burt Reynolds and he had a line in that movie that i thought was delightfully funny..... "Beautiful city Amsterdam, it's where all the lifeboats come to have a vacation." Those long boats do kinda look like lifeboats i think. Happy boating!!!

Well Phillip, I agree with you about the waiting game. But, unfortunately, it's part of life isn't it?! You watch some old movies my friend 🙂 One starring Burt Reynolds...wauw. My mother had a crush on him ( along with millions of other woman of course). I really like the cannonball run movies...EPIC! Oh and about those life boats...you have a healthy imagination I think..those " longboats" are are on average 120 feet long and way on average 150 metric tons ( 150 thousand kilograms) That's a hefty lifeboat right!? 🙂 Thanks for watching again Phillip, take care!

Wow, looking at all the work ahead of you is exhausting.

Hahaha yes it's starting to look like work isn't it?! I just gonna take it job for job, and I'll get there. Thanks for watching! 👍😃

That's how anyone does anything big like boat restoration, take it job by job and one day all the jobs will eventually get less and less until our human minds can take looking at it in whole. I'm restoring a narrowboat in the UK and am enjoying watching your channel as it reminds me of my challenges fixing up my boat. Good luck!

I'm afraid you'll still experience condensation problems on the windows and else where when you keep single layers. I'm having the same problems, even if I heat above 35°C with ventilation, I'll just be sweating more and it'll drip from the windows. 🥵🤷‍♂
    Happy building! 🤙⛵

That's weird, my boat is completely dry in this time of year. No condensation what so ever. Maybe it's because your windows are lower towards the waterline than mine? Oh, and I have a secret weapon...a de-humidifier 🙂 Thanks for watching again! 🙂

I do have one more question i forgot to ask about. Your cover asks "which one" and shows pictures of two things. Neither one of those things looked like a toilet, so i was wondering what were the two things you were deciding between? Maybe i missed something in the dialog but even through school, i was known as not to totally pay attention to what someone was saying (i tend to drift off). Were you referring to the types of windows as to which ones? Anyway, i got confused. Happy boating.

These are the 2 heating systems I could choose. (you are right again Phillip, this was not explicitly mentioned in the video). But this is a 3 to 7 thousand Euro debate I am battling here. The red one ( KABOA) is the best heating system and brand in the world for boats/campervans etc etc). The grey one is a German brand called WEBASTO...they are nowhere near KABOLA...but they are 3 to 4 times cheaper...but still reasonably reliable. On the secondhand market I will get 200 euro's for the WEBASTO after 5 years...for the KABOLA I will get at least 80 % of the asking price...at 10 or more years! It's like comparing a Caddilac with a Roll's Royce....both good...but still 1 winner without contest.
