Once you've won air, Broadswords basically become a game-ender. It happens quite often. Not sure why team 1 neglected their SMDs though.

That annoucement about FAF looking for developers had me going to their discord, looking at their github repos, exploring environment setup, looking up what gitops and argo cd is, only climbing out of the rabbit hole an hour and a half later to continue the video. Great stuff as always, Gyle!

Wouldn't it be worth it to have an air transport closeby your commander in the early game to exfiltrate him before he goes down to T1 spam?
I saw some early game ejections where there were no interceptors or anti-air ground units nearby, I believe.
You could, but it's risky, as a transporter (even a T2) is easily shot down and you usually don't have good intel at this time, so there might just be a dozen interceptors lurking close by (the players don't have the nice observer view that we have in these casts).
Also, you need at least a T2 transporter to transport a commander, which is quite an investment so early and not something you can do quickly, so you would have to prepare it in advance, spending resources and time that could be invested in more ground forces.
But this is Supreme Commander and moves like this make it fun. So try it, it might just work! And if you don't need to rescue the commander you could move him into the enemy's base and wreak havoc.

It's extremely weird to me that people don't make reclaim factories. I always put at least one factory on t1 fab loop patrol over juicey areas. Even if the fabs die they in turn get reclaimed, or just soak damage. But then I start thinking that if these were real armies that evolved everyone would have automated reclaim baked into everything. Just like a reclaim turret on every unit. The whole thing starts to feel contrived for the obvious stuff that's missing.
its worth to start playing this game? I just got some of these videos recommended and it looks like fun, but Idk if there's enough community for a noob to enter :P

i have a IT problem also, TH-cam have not been dropping your cast´s to my feed, i tried the good old trick hit the device! i found out they dont make monitors like they did on "good" old days.
Nothing that duct tape and few cable ties can fix!
