Thank you for sharing your journey! I’ve been dealing with hair loss for about 4 years. It’s mentally exhausting, especially because my experience with dermatologists have been so lacking and dismissive.
I am glad that your hair loss has normalized. It is very brave and generous on your part to share your personal experience with TE. For anyone who is experiencing TE, your advice and recommendations on how best to cope with the condition are invaluable, as is your reassurance that TE is temporary and reversible.
Thank you so much 4 sharing! I'm going through the same episode. As a nurse too, I did a bloodwork hoping to find something wrong😅 I finally linked it to post pandemic stress , with all its aspects. Very painful as a woman to experience this😢 I'm doing pretty much the same routine as yours. It's not my 1st episode in life. Every time it stopped at some point. I'm working on stress management, releasing trauma etc...what helped me was healing music, nutritional yeast, be near the sea.....and faith🙏❤
I’m late. Glad I found this video. Very helpful. I’m experiencing TE for the 3 time due to surgery and Covid. I love the detailed information. I find it helpful that you mentioned overall nutrition as well. And I’m also a nurse that does shift work and just started rotating shifts and it definitely lowers your immune system and is very stressful to me. I’m actually going to use your tips and try the viviscal! Thanks so much!
My hair grew back after covid hair loss took around 2 years plus it’s still not the same but much better vitamin d and skin hair supplements helped immensely
Thank you for sharing. I’ve just started my TE journey and was so distressed and lost about 50% so far and it’s still coming out. I’m on Minoxidl which has definitely slowed down the loss. My I think was either covid or rapid weight loss. Now I’m throwing everything I can at my hair and body to try and reverse and recover my hair loss. It’s helped a lot listening to your journey. ❤
Thanks for this it's very informative. I also use every hair vitamin on the market 😂😂😂 Lord willing it will help. I even read drinking coffee will also help, but first I pray to God 🙏🙏🙏🙏 He's the answer 🙏
Thank you for your video! Although I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, I have (or did have) thick hair, until recently when I started taking Leflonomide in mid June. It was sometime in August when I noticed excessive hairloss in the shower, then excessive shedding. I finally stopped the medication in early October, but I'm still shedding like crazy. Hoping desperately that this will be over soon. Hope everyone is well. Hugs. ❤
if youre younger than 30 dont use minoxidil for TE, otherwise use it but be very vigilant, do not go a week without using it otherwise your hair shedding will be far worse than it was before using mnoxidil
Im a cosmetologist and i use redken all soft gold bottles and mega soft brown copper bottles. I over heard they can cause hair loss . I am gonna tey bosley
Thanks so much for this. I learned so much. TE spunds terrifying Pure magnesium oil is what my frind has had success with. Have you tried it? You rub it into your scalp and leave it for 10 or 15 minutes before washing.
I’m 21, currently experiencing TE and this is heartbreaking. Thank you for your advice and help, it means a lot to hear that I’m not alone.

Does that mean the hair will never be the same like it was when one didn't have telogen effluvium? :((
Which supplements u think helped?
Vitamine D is very good😊
I would very much enjoy if you make another video on your further recovery. 🥰

Yes, i had covid, and hair loss😢 it grew back steel grey and curly. i was natural blond before..
I wish mine would grow back curly! I seem to have lost the curl at the crown but my layers underneath are super curly 😔
I’m considering minoxidil. Has anyone else tried it?

thanks to Covid, TE is going to become more normal, and i'm interested to see how the fashion industry responds
i honestly can't thank you enough for this video
Thank you 😊 ❤️ I’m glad you enjoyed it! Even if one person finds it informative or helpful I’m happy.
Shedding since mid July due to Gastric Bypass surgery. Hopefully I’ll be good mid October, I’ll be getting married then.
How are you doing now?
@ i’m back to normal shedding. Lost a ton so I got myself a weave. It really boosted my confidence! Many new hairs are growing!
@ that's great good luck!
losing my hair for 2 years already, going crazy..
I had thin hair before TE so my hair now is very very thin. I wear a lose bun every day. Is that okay?
Any advice I’ve been shedding hair from covid since 2021 and still in shedding process.
Collagen finally stopped it for me! Not gummies but powder! It has much higher strength
Are u sure@@Pilothannahgrace
