The piano is more than just an instrument.... you can go months, even years without playing, but when your finger tips touch the keys, the conection is still right there. As your hands drift into a melodic dance across the black and white notes, you enter a different world. It takes you on a journey of reminiscing, sadness, happiness, calm, floating and many many emotions... it is your past, present and future. My piano is my escape, my soul mate and a place i call home 🎹🎶💞 Thank you for the beautiful music 🎶
Many many years ago I was stationed in Scotland and my husband and I would get a B&B in Dunoon Scotland. They had a baby grand piano in the sitting room. I would play it and the owners of the B&B would be so happy 😁
I've played piano for over a decade. I go back to play the piano and my fingers forgot most of the connection. I can't even read sheet music anymore. Meh.
Reflections holds a very special place in my heart. I lost my Aunt in april of this year. (For context, my aunt is profoundly Deaf & I was tasked with finding music for her funeral being the closest hearing relative in attendance) I picked Reflections as the song we brought her to her final resting place & I was so, so anxious about picking music because I wanted everything to be perfect. I asked myself, how do I pick music for a someone that wasn’t able to have a connection to music? I picked this because “Reflections” as a word felt very fitting to my emotional state at the time. It was so, so tough to say goodbye, but I am forever grateful to know that we gave her a send-off with beautiful music
Beautiful choice. I struggle with a similar thing, I gave a speech at my Dad’s funeral. I hope I would’ve made him proud with it. Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t. But the real kicker here is that you did SOMETHING. You chose it based on her. And the feelings you felt during her time of departure. I promise you that you did a great job and please let this message serve as a reminder of your times with her ❤

Superb music, nothing beats the expressiveness and emotions of a piano sound, for the folks that wish to play this on a piano, it's a very slow piece to learn, a simple and inexpensive keyboard is all you need, also some patience, persistence and passion. Took me a few years to learn how to play the piano, I stuck with it, never gave in, you can do it also.
