I caught a sturgeon 2 day ago in Prescott Wisconsin. Pretty nice size one too. Was going for walleye but sturgeon bit my swimbait.

I fish on the st.croix a lot and I wanna catch some sturgeon I would like some advice and where on the river should I go, keep in mind I’m fishing from shore

i dont have a spot i shore fish too but ive heard definitly cast as close to the main channel as possible. look at depth maps if you need

Do they bite all summer ? When is best time to fish for them

Fish for them at night. Use chicken liver for bait
