I always enjoy when u say that a "grail" is whatever character means alot to the collector! Ive said it before but i have pops that are worth hundreds of dollars that are characters that I just like, however there are tons of pops in my collection that are worth way more to me than its value! For example.. the new Boba Fett pop from the Mandalorian. Its worth maybe 15$, but for me.. its priceless! I even have it in a hard stack lol! Oh the Boondock saints are my favorite too! I got those pops as gifts from my friend! Worth almost nothing but means so much to us!
my favorite grails in my collection is my set of Freddy funkos as the stranger things characters I have the set and it took me two years to complete it.
My #1 funko pop grail is my Beetlejuice 1005. I had a small handful of Funkos before I got this pop but I absolutely love how this pop looks and it makes me extremely happy. It really sparked my love/need to collect more Funko pops
Hmm, personal grail for me is Golden Frieza, it was the first time I ever stepped inside Hot Topic, didn’t even know what con exclusives pops where, I just saw the employee placing them on the shelf, he is my favorite villain so I bought it. The most expensive pop right now is Dabi, though his price keeps going lower and lower. Nejire was the hardest pop to get, I still remember that I was shaking, such a rush.
A "grail" status to me is $75-100 and a second variable is if it's vaulted on top of the price range. My personal grail is my Zero pop. My first pop. Gifted to me by my girlfriend a few years ago
My personal Funko grail is my Bob Ross with Peapod. It’s not super high value but is kind of a sentimental Pop for me cause I really like the Bob Ross Joy of Painting show and Peapod the Pocket Squirrel was an animal that he showed and talked about a lot. I got it from a fellow TH-cam Funko collector for a kind of a low price cause the box is a bit damaged. It’s a Target exclusive that can be hard to find.
I don’t have any true grails but my personal grail is my Darth Maul from Rebels, not the most expensive in my collection but it’s the pop that really got me into collecting

As an out of box collector my grail is grand admiral thrawn which I've had and been attached to for a long time

For me and my collection
monetary grail my NYCC stickered Mandalorian.
Personal grail also my autographed pops from celebrities I've met.
My sentimental grail for me is my Connor MacManus autographed pop and my Dr. Frank N Furter pop my wife and kids bought me.

Awesome vid, I just purchased my first grail the other day as an early birthday gift. Bought Russell from Up for $75, condition was pretty good like 7.5/10, so think I got an awesome deal.

a grail is and stays a flexibel term, as a personal grail i have the White walker ( my very first pop) but also pops i would never consider selling for example my sesame street pops . if you speak in value i do think 200,- is the amount, its when you going to spend that amount of money you would think twice if you really want it. if i look at my collection it basicly my top 12 pops, ones thats in there are run/dmc/grandmaster the metalic kermit/miss piggy/Animal and at top my Purple Haze
I also have a funko pop that should be a grail but it worth 19 dollars, it’s the original Silver surfer funko pop, I got it along time ago at universal studios park in Orlando
I kinda agree with the monetary value goes into it, but rarity as well. Take the John Wick Chase Funko. There are so many fakes circulating that it’s kinda like finding a needle in a haystack.

Awesome video man. My most expensive grail would be the sdcc masked Ochaco that I bought on eBay when I first came out for $35, but the two I guess personal grails would be the chase Rocko and Hefer pop I loved watching the show as a kid.
This is the content you need to stick to in my opinion, not a lot of ushers for pop collectors and tons of “complaints” via tubers atm not throwing any shade anywhere but I like seeing seasoned pop collectors make content like this
for the most part, this is the type of funko content I will be sticking to for the next few months. It helps people, is searchable and will hopefully do well over time, and it doesnt cost me anything. Lol. I already have a list of about 8 videos along this vein that i will be doing about one a week of, as I branch out and do other things like DC, Metazoo and Funko on this channel.
Awesome video, and we agree with all of that! I loooove Freddy Funko and Raphael is my favorite ninja turtle from my favorite cartoon growing up, so getting Freddy as Raphael is both my favorite grail and one of my highest monetary pops as well!

Really enjoyed this video! My favorite personal grails are the OG “Planet of the Apes” Pops. Recently completed the set in NM condition & I love them despite their monetary value. My favorite monetary grails are “Faker” from Masters of the Universe & “Grand Admiral Thrawn” from Star Wars: Rebels due to the time spent seeking out each upon release.

I was going wild with Funko, til I finally got my holy grail planet arlia vegeta I calmed down. Now I just keep up with dragon ball to keep it 100%.
My top grail is the Billy from Saw, which is vaulted but my other ones are Dani with Binx, The Sanderson Sisters all flying, as well as Billy Butcherson. I absolutely adore those characters and they're not really that expensive. They're all characters that are my personal Grails. But my Billy from Saw is also that as well as an expensive one. I just love them.

Awesome video my Funko grail is Batman from a the Batman Animated series signed by Bruce Timm and Kevin Conroy it was my third pop in my collection and it was awesome to meet both of them also I got Aizawa signed pop for free before they started to charge so much for pop signature 🤣

Great video dude. Grail is definitely a term that gets thrown around way too much. But personal grails are what it is all about.
I also have another funko pop it’s the metallic Flash chase that is 180 dollars , I also have another funko pop that is kinda cheap but I think it’s a grail to me and it’s the black and white Loki it’s value right now at 75

(LMAO you know I had to do this) I haven't received them yet so I'll keep to the ones I currently have and say probably Soul from Soul eater is my favorite grail right now. Soul was one of the first pops that I added to my collection by doing a meetup and I got him for $20 when he was at his $50. All Might will likely become my favorite very soon after I check out the glow lol

Totally amazing video of Funko pops grails doctor applesauce, fantastic job and my limit for a Funko pop is 200 dollars least then too. Also my favourite personally grail to me is my kingdom hearts Pete, marvel kingpin/vemonized kingpin too. My expense pop is my hero academia FatGum & I am groot 18 inches pop in my collection.

I loved this video. A "grail" threshold for me is 100 as well and hard to find. I consider $50-99 mini grails. And of course I have personal grails. I'm better at collecting now than I was in the past. The newest grail im after is superman metallic chase (dc universe box). Just got wonder woman (though it was dc super heroes box)

Nice video but Grail in the Funko community is definitely lightly thrown around, I guess I can understand since it’s a fairly new hobby. Grails in other hobbies meant something more like you don’t really even know if you’ll be able to get one in your lifetime :))

Are signed pops considered “Grails”?
My first pop was ash from the evil dead and will always hold a special place in my collection. My daughter got me a venomized Thanos for Christmas which I love. But I do fully agree that a grail is what you make it. I rarely will buy a pop just to buy one, they have to remind me of something. Just got a shaun from shaun of the dead at the saratoga comic con. It has been on my want lost forever cause I love the movie. Great video doc..
