This video is a walk through of the Read & Write features of LS Droid. LS Droid is an amazing Android program that is currently being developed by PeteS160plus.
Ls Droid Beta V0.2.0 blocks flashing if you are not connected to the internet when the app opens. This was done as a fail safe in the event someone were to find a major flaw that was NOT user error and would result in PCM damage. The internet check was only designed so flashing could be disabled to prevent others from running into the same issue.
If anybody cares to know, the OBDLink SX (the not wireless one) works with PCM Hammer. Read a couple P59s. 20 minutes for a full read. One was on a bench harness; one was in a stock car. Flashed no VATS calibration in 2 minutes.
Mine literally won’t write because I don’t have 3 previous flashes. But when I go to do “practice” flashes it keeps saying low voltage weather it’s hooked to a fresh 12v battery or a 3A 12v laptop adapter
Can you please point me in the right direction to download the LS Droid V6 version you have? I’m able to read the pcm using the LS Droid but I don’t have the version you have where you can write the pcm. I’ve searched everywhere.
I can unbrick those without desoldering the chip and it's not the ground trick. However you do need to open the lid to do it. I have a few tricks up my sleeve...

I subscribed to gearhead efi .did a read wrote down my os number but could not find on that matches in gearhead efi so I quit trying again I barely know how to use a computer .any help wld be greatly appreciated.
i couldnt either android phone i tried installing Ls droid on, to register so i tried pcmhammer and it read it immediately and saved as stock pcm. Then i used Tunerpro to delete VATs, enable both fans to come on at 210/215 and both go off at 190 and it saved apparently BUT it gave me an error at ime of saving saying some checksum files may be missing. So im very skeptical about writing that ot my pcm in fear of bricking my only pcm. I know its Lsdroid direct competition but any idea whats goin on with Tunerpro about those missing checksum files?
So basically I can make a clone of my ecu? I can make a stock ecu and a "modified" one for the same car or truck nice. I actually broke down and bought HPtuners for $300 no credits yet but I can still use this process so I dont have to buy credits for each car I wanna tune.
This is a read and write program, once you read the pcm and save as a .bin file, then you load it into a program like TunerPro where you can disable the vats and do major tuning changes to the programing. Then save the modified program to a new .bin file which you use LSdroid to upload back into the PCM. EASY . At least in theory
That doesn't work for PCM's with a corrupt boot loader. Also, that comment was misspoken and was corrected towards the end of the video. It's obvious you didn't watch the whole video... And it needs grounded out for half a second, not a second.

@@bobbobby1846 Ive had multiple P59 PCMs not respond to the pin reset and was able to recover all of them by removing the chip and soldering it back on. I've also been able to recover a handful of them with the pin reset. Basically, I'm saying the pin reset is not a full proof method to recovering a PCM.

I cant get the os id to show even with the gnd pin, oblinklx and lsdroid or pcmhammer, my only option is to desolder and reflash stock bin with gq4x4?

That's a great idea for the universal OBD II Power/Ignition switch box. Did you take pictures when you were building it?

there is a efi live pdf file that shows pin connections. google it.

you do not have to remove chip to reflash bin. there is a pin you ground out for a second. PeteS160 tells how to do it.
