It's still a hell of a scale to try to pull off live, whether or not you've rehearsed. Kyle did it perfect here, but even KG doesn't even try it at some shows.

Of all the working musicians in the world, only a few really get to be superstars. A talk show gig or something like that would be the next best thing.

Probably my least favorite live performance of Wonderboy but I still enjoy it. The Max Weinberg 7's harmonies are pretty darn nice, if a little over-polished.

I remember watching this when it aired in early highschool. I remember thinking... "Isn't that guy an actor or something?". Loved the performance. Loved Conan, too. I ended up picking up the album at a local record shop called the Electric Fetus and had to listen to it in private at home because of all the profanity. It's now one of all-time favorite records and one of the few I can sing along (and rant about inward singing) to, word for word. Long live the D! Lead as Two Kings!
Wish I could go back the the simple times of listening to Tenacious D with friends and laughing our a***s off. Such a simpler time 😪 they'll never be good times like that again with this new culture around...
