As a former Industrial Automation Engineer turned into AI Engineer (nowadays working as Department Director, lucky I guess 😅), I have some tips to _infere_ if you'll lose your job, no later than 2030...Mostly if: - You feel your job is repetitive (that scaled quickly, 30 years ago was _"being able to put somw stuff inside a box"_ , nowadays is _"writing novels"_ or _"painting portraits"_ ... Is that it?) - You can do your job without requiring more than 1 second of physic or thought - Your job doesn't require an complex, *combined* requirement of thinking + strength. - Your company has a considerable budget to invest in _"improvements"_
Thank you for this really helpful video. You have shown how to use Chat GPT in ways beyond being a simple practical assistant for coding and summarisation. I'm working on a personal project in AI and robotics with emphasis on following and further understanding some recent work in neuroscience. Chat GPT has been helpful in all areas. I really like your comments on learning languages. I've graduated to Python because that seems to be a far better adapted, and more widely adopted, language for my type of work. However, I never planned to spend a year learning Python. Instead of that I've found that Chat GPT can easily produce sample code which I can immediately test and modify; at the same time learning syntax in context of enduring problem solutions. Framing a problem for Chat GPT is a valuable way to clarify what I am trying to achieve. GIGO! GPT is also helping me to make design decisions and to better understand patterns that I need to use. You have expanded my horizons with this talk. Thank you again. I'm using Chat GPT-4, by the way.
words cant appreciate u, u just gave me a key to escape helll, i really look upto u and want to become a guy who is more than a coder. and this is my 1st step iam a 1st year student and my 1st sem is going on and iam working on a project to ie linear regression of crude oil price, and i use python for backend but i learned that smth called streamlit (idk am learning abt it)

I'm a mechanical engineer that wants to get into AI/ML. And even for me its a little daunting. I cant imagine starting from scratch with no math/physics background. Great video!
Hi Jean, can you please share the link to these chat(s) you had with ChatGPT in the description box or in the pinned comment? I really like the specific projects showcased in this video.
I know the video isn't about it, but you are so pretty.! Started watching content related data science and AI as i am trying to transition from web dev to AI engineer, and thanks for the guides.!
Chatgpt suggested starting in the week1-2 with introduction to ai&ML Is it possible to dive into Ai & ML course by andrew ng before learn the basics of python and mathematics and thank you
thank you for this helpful video. I got the email for roadmap couldnt dl it though. it gives me a 404 error when I click on the link. can anyone help me with that?
# I believe we are meant to be like Jesus in our hearts and not in our flesh. But be careful of AI, for it is just our flesh and that is it. It knows only things of the flesh (our fleshly desires) and cannot comprehend things of the spirit such as peace of heart (which comes from obeying God's Word). Whereas we are a spirit and we have a soul but live in the body (in the flesh). When you go to bed it is your flesh that sleeps but your spirit never sleeps (otherwise you have died physically) that is why you have dreams. More so, true love that endures and last is a thing of the heart (when I say 'heart', I mean 'spirit'). But fake love, pretentious love, love with expectations, love for classic reasons, love for material reasons and love for selfish reasons that is a thing of our flesh. In the beginning God said let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness. Take note, God is Spirit and God is Love. As Love He is the source of it. We also know that God is Omnipotent, for He creates out of nothing and He has no beginning and has no end. That means, our love is but a shadow of God's Love. True love looks around to see who is in need of your help, your smile, your possessions, your money, your strength, your quality time. Love forgives and forgets. Love wants for others what it wants for itself. Take note, love works in conjunction with other spiritual forces such as faith and patience. We should let the Word of God be the standard of our lives not AI. If not, God will let us face AI on our own and it will cast the truth down to the ground, it will be the cause of so much destruction like never seen before, it will deceive many and take many captive in order to enslave them into worshipping it and abiding in lawlessness. We can only destroy ourselves but with God all things are possible. God knows us better because He is our Creater and He knows our beginning and our end. Our prove text is taken from the book of John 5:31-44, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, Daniel 7-9, Revelation 13-15, Matthew 24-25 and Luke 21. Let us watch and pray... God bless you as you share this message to others.
I'd go a step further. GPT does not know anything at all. It is just a way of creating text. Large language models like GPT have no grounding other than the patterns and sequences on which they are trained. So, I would argue, a language model is not even like the 'flesh' in any significant way. We have not created anything that anyone is likely to mistake for a person provided they are infomed that it is just a model. We don't mistake a computer weather model for actual weather do we? At the other end of your argument, I doubt if there is anything beyond the dynamical systems that are, somehow, our minds and their interaction with the environment. Even the distinction between mind and environment is questionable. The project of understanding the mind is on-going in philosophy and in science. I'm not claiming that there is no god or creator. If there is something that corresponds to a creator we shall eventually discover it by exploring with humility the natural world of which we are part; to start with a god or creator is working from the wrong end, in my opinion and with respect to you. I think it places limitations upon ourselves that have hitherto been impediments to improving human thriving.

I like this format of video. Can you do more practical projects? I want to be a data analyst, what is the equivalent of the launched app for us?
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll add to my ideas list!
Really helpful video! Thanks helping us along with adapting to the changing landscape!
Glad it was helpful!

The math is surprisingly easy. For me its the programming thats a headache.
Mechanical engineer without math/physics background 😮
I'm going into AI/ML because I want to do uni level math or at least work with ideas that are dependent on uni level math.
Thanks @devon9374!
THANK YOU! This was exactly what I've been looking for. Great video!
Glad it was helpful!

Did you tell chatgpt you don’t have basics of python and mathematics?
You have to provide your background information to get an applicable response

helpful
I am from a qa background can non technical folks get jobs in AI
I think it's possible. There are many AI driven QA startups. Have you looked into those?
