The onboard dac is really good by the way, easily better than a 1000$ dac. (Speaking from experience) it was better than rme dac plus u save on rca and usb cables.
Yes, that's what they told me when I went to the factory. Also, it's the same board you find on their Converto mkII, but without the preamps and headphone section.
