I had a 2009 Mini Cooper S two-door automatic. Unfortunately, it had every single issue of that year was known for. It was well-maintained, but it had problems. Are they still maintenance heavy like they used to be? I really want another one.
We have two (a S and a JCW All4 Clubman - both 2023) and they are both a "riot" - can't say enough about the model or the brand - we're up to 4 MINIs now with a 5th on the way ;-) If you want another Clubman you'll have to order one in the next couple of weeks - my dealer said that orders for Clubman will be ending in November (not sure exactly when).
I love the mini and was thinking of buying one but not with another computer screen plopped in front of me. I have a phone for that...that computer ruined the look of the interior for me and where is the cool speedometer?
Get a 2022-2024 this is the updated years. I like both the S and JCW but ride will change. The S is a little more smooth as the JCW suspension rides more firm, loader exhaust and faster 😁. I would buy the JCW but recommend you test drive them both as they drive different 👍
@@xiaopoq3797 if you go JCW the yearly service or 12k miles is around 200-250, the S is less, reliability goes with servicing the vehicle which normal problems will happen at higher miles.
My ‘19 s convertible has 135k miles. Only issues have been plastic coolant system housings and passenger side motor mount. It’s more expensive to maintain than a Toyota but it is soooo much fun to drive😄
I did lease mini cooper once after my 21 Rouge in repair after accident I fixed half way through using donor parts from salvage vehicles since part shortage 11/7/23 There few cosmetic issues with powertrain when I bought vehicles new in 21 1.electrical issues 2.powertrain issue 3.throttle body tended to get stuck wide open throttle which I never fixed I recently installed kill switch in case car does go runaway mode automatically switch off engine while vehicle is motion The car will keep running through 2029 Till gasoline engine ban I would convert the car into propane fuel or electric motor 11/6/23 I did bought 2 wracked 21 Rouge it repaired and I going to do experimental running that car with propane fuel and another one running electric motor conversion Which one suitable for the future use and cost
I love your reviews maybe you can eliminate the roundabout it's very nauseating because I usually watch from my TV Maybe just hit some curves while you're driving
I am getting a ‘24 Mini S to replace my ‘19 Mini convertible with 135k miles. Never get tired of driving a Mini!
They are awesome congratulations
Okay, at first I was confused about how this Cooper S got Rebel Green but after you'd mentioned it's a Resolute Edition makes sense...
👍

@@willharris4429 normal maintenance which I would work a deal with the dealership to get some free services 😁
I had a Mini CLUBMAN JCW ALLWHEEL drive so sorry I didn't keep it after the Lease. Great review.
They are fun vehicles 👍

It’s attached to the steering column with a screen
@@HawkeyeRides I saw one at the dealership with this cool looking speedometer..must have been older. I Don't like the look of the screen
Amazing video!!! Is this car a reliable car?
As long as you maintenance it, yes 👍
It's increased by nearly 25% in cost over a a similarly equipped 2016 model.
That is 8 years ago to.
which mini cooper model would you recommend? i’m thinking the newer mini cooper 2021-2024’s but idk if they’re reliable

@@HawkeyeRides thank you so much!! :) also, are the newer models easy to maintain, or will the maintenance be really expensive?

Most of the roads are straight that’s why I use them 👍
Why doesn't this car have Android auto?
No
