    Really great video! The vehicle has a coilover suspension from the factory. Why can't the vehicle height be reduced with the original springs?

    • @Scuderiacarparts
      @Scuderiacarparts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The springs aren't designed to be compressed beyond the original ride height. You CAN lower the car but you'll have a really hard ride. The Novitec/KW springs are designed to be more compliant at the lower ride height, as well as being variable rate.

    Hi, Thank you for the video, very informative. I had heard that cars with OPF have different rear silences that ones with, as not as much filtering is required due to the OPF ?

    • @Scuderiacarparts
      @Scuderiacarparts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Rich! Glad you enjoyed it
      The rear silencers are identical for all 812's, regardless of year or model!
      The only bit that changes is the downpipe which may include the GPF, depending on model year
      Let me know if you have any more questions :)

    do you know that white 812 n largo that terrorized london with crazy loud exhaust and revs few years ago which went viral on youtube? arab guy driving and 8121 number plate. That car was also on shmees video and its known to have novitec decat full exhaust. But that specific car sounded different (more high pitch,louder) from all the other decat novitec 812s on youtube including the one on your video (number plate MY12SFT). why is that white n largo sound louder?? some comments say that white n largo has novitec inconel rear exhaust but does inconel makes that much difference? novitec doesnt offer xpipe,downpipe in inconel right? why does that specific white n largo sounds so much better than other decat novitec stage3 cars???

    • @Scuderiacarparts
      @Scuderiacarparts  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As strange as this sounds - every single 812 running a decat Novitec exhaust sounds like that, a lot of the white car's sound had to do with where it was filmed - park lane has loads of high buildings on the left side which help reflect and amplify the sound for example. But mark our words, we've heard enough of these things, they all sound MENTAL. Inconel makes a slight difference, but it isn't transformative in all honesty

      thanks for your kind reply! building echo does make it much louder! im in seoul,korea and we also have a place where high rise building lined up and at that place car sounds much more louder especially at night. plus that arab guy's driving style with crazy revs what you said totally make sense!

    How does the X-pipe enhance a sport cat + valved silencer setup? Does it lose some of the base notes and add more high pitched notes at higher rpm? Or is it across the rpm range? Does the Tectronic ONLY filter out cat-related errors? Will we still get all the other errors so we don't miss out on any real issues? From my research the OEM pipes are 70mm cross section, does the car need more or is that enough, and is that also the size of your pipes? Is there a choice between different # cell cats? Thanks!

    • @Scuderiacarparts
      @Scuderiacarparts  ปีที่แล้ว

      OK Abe so first thing to bear in mind here - if your car is a 2020+ SF or a GTS of any year it has GPFs. In this case the catalysts are mandatory, doing a catback does nothing to improve the sound as the GPFs throttle the exhaust note so much. The x pipe does very little to change the note at lower revs, it relies on accelerated gas flow (i.e. high RPMs) to work so it only affects the osund at high RPM by lifting the pitch of the exhaust note. Novitec only offer 100-cell catalysts, and they are the same diameter as OEM - no need to change. The Tectronic filters out cat inefficiency errors and any errors related to the GPFs once they are removed. Feel free to give me an email to discuss further! dylan@scuderiacarparts.com

    Where can I see the comparison between a 2018 and 2020+ exhaust comparison? I can’t seem to find a video anywhere? I wanna take your word but I heard a GPF 812 and it didn’t sound very muffled ? Any thoughts?

    My dealer advised me to only install the Novitec sport cats and x-pipe for my 812 GTS, and no need to change the factory back boxes (I have already installed the Capristo valve opener). He said this setup would most likely be sufficient. However, I once read in a forum that not replacing the back boxes would make the exhaust sound agricultural, especially on cold starts. Is that so? I would really appreciate your advice and feedback. Many thanks!

    • @Scuderiacarparts
      @Scuderiacarparts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is absolutely correct, the silencers are designed to handle the standard exhaust flow. They are sonically tuned to cancel out/boost certain frequencies to achieve the desired exhaust note, when you accelerate exhaust gases by installing sport cats that sonic tuning is totally out and therefore all the wrong frequencies are boosted/cut - ending up with a really rough exhaust note!

    Does the front spoiler lip reduce ground clearance, and does it work in conjunction with the OEM front carbon piece?
    Also, how is that hood centre piece attached where there normally is a plastic piece? Does it bolt in and replace the plastic piece or is it just a piece of thin carbon that is attached on top with adhesive?

    • @Scuderiacarparts
      @Scuderiacarparts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ground clearance remains unchanged - it is fixed over the top of the front lip (including the carbon "moustache" pieces) with adhesive

    Can you have valve control with a full decat ?
    Does the car sound better when giving it the beans with a full decat or better with the sports cats ?

    • @Scuderiacarparts
      @Scuderiacarparts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sir you can indeed! The valve control is totally independent of the cats, as long as the rear silencers have valves you can have valve control.
      As for decat/sport cat - decat is more aggressive for sure, but they can be very droney at motorway speeds.
      Sport cats give you 95% of the brutality of decats, but they eliminate the drone so that's what we'd recommend

    • @AB-80X
      @AB-80X ปีที่แล้ว

      You lose a lot of the refinement of the sound. Some would argue that decatting is more about being loud than sounding good. I tend to agree.
