Hopefully my cheap and your cheap aren't too dissimilar, if you don't want to do mining/herbing you can still do all the other profession shuffles to be able to afford the KP books but it will cost you a lot more, I think this way is much better, because you can take a brand new toon with 50k and end them up with a build in any profession that will be able to turn a profit without having to wait weeks on weekly KP, and you should even get that gold back from the gathering required.

Don't do this if you have two professions with recipes you dont want to lose. Also forgot to mention if you do the Herb/Mining part use a phial of truesight so you get more nodes. I imagine the fastest way to get the Herbalism kp is by joining a seed farm group.
One thing i've noticed from testing this, is for mining and herb mostly. Not enchanting, maybe skinning also but havent tested it yet. Once you unlock the deepgrove roots and null silver, you're maybe getting 1 drop per 10 nodes you farm. So in theory you're going to have to farm over 1000 nodes total in order to fully benefit from the acuity. Which i mean is probably 1-2 days of 10 hour hardcore sessions depending on the player

@@Eyancraft Yeah i just finished my herb/mining. Mining drops took way longer. It was just under 5 hours, went from lvl 70-76 but only made around 87k with about 1050 acuity. I finished herb at around the 4 hours and 15 mins mark. Honestly some times id go 30 nodes without a drop and other times it would drop 4 in a row. And that was with me using the potions, in profession gear, all treasures collected and specing into knowledge whenever i could

I've avoided doing the shuffles so far, but one can't argue how effective it is if you value the acuity.

I remember when we didn't have to do absolutely degenerate farms like this to be able to level and profit from professions... Great video though, but this AA and KP system is soooo bad
Yeah I'm not a Acuity fan, wasn't a Mettle fan either, but I do like the KP/Tree System, wish it was even more in depth, so people would be more spread out instead of hyperfocused on similar things.

The new profession system as a whole is leaps and bounds above anything wow has done previously. Now you actually feel like you're getting better at your professions over time and you can have an edge over other people whi haven't bothered with their professions as much, not to mention that crafting gear is actually profitable now. The old system was tragic.

I thought about that lol, but they're not region wide so don't think there will be much movement.
@@Eyancraft The cards are region wide, the *decks* are not. I think it's because once you combine the cards into a deck they become a trinket so they aren't regionwide anymore. But the cards definitely are.

for the enchanting you could have done the patron at the same time of the first craft of the mask and you'll get more acuity depending of the rewards

i have been playing since expansion and still cant afford my blue tools on my double gatherer.. guess its time to reset..
This would be great if the price of litterally everything except the materials you have to manually gather dropped 30+% in a day
if u want to speed up disenchanting use Molinari Addon to disenchant if you press alt+click over the item.
or just bind the disenchant skill in your bar
or /tsm destroy

For whatever reason my enchanting doesnt have those 72 shimmering dust to equire... I have found both those treasure from treasure and got the 5 rares and 1 epic KP items, but I still dont see them. I also dont get any when I DE the decks :( and I dont mean its red, not green - its just simply not on the list at all...

Thanks Eyan, good explanation. What was the source of the initial 350 Artisan's Acuity in your bags at the beginning of the video please? My baby druid double gatherer (70-76 gathering) only has 410 total so I am missing where you got those starting points. Was that the satchel intro crafting order's quest?
Yep the initial 350 are from the one time bag, this was a fresh toon. I think this is actually really good for Gathering toons because you can get the main tool for both quickly.
So if I have 2 professions maxed out I can't do this? I'd lose all recipes? or is AA warbound?

What exactly would i lose if i were to unlearn my Mining Profession that is:
Level 100
3 pieces of Green Gear
Bought 1 200 acuity Knowledge Book
All off the knowledge thingys looted from around the map
Nothing, only your level resets
You will only lose 100 skill in mining you keep everything else, when you pick mining back up you will be at 0.
I dont have a weekly in the crafting order building from that tauren lady o.O i did whole enchanting and am sitting at 895 AA and you have 1035
did you start at 350? I had 350 from the one time bag, the quest from the tuaren lady was for lw and tailoring not Enchanting.
If one of the professions I want is enchanting should I keep it or can I just repeat the enchanting step after unlearning for Mining and Herbing?
You should keep it yep, this process will get your caught up in enchanting KP so you would want to do it.
"catch up" gives more kp than me actually playing the game on my main and alts, what a joke blizzard
Did they nerf mining/herb nodes? How much they yield? My skill has gone up but i swear, im pulling less mats.
Your tool needs to have 200+ finesse to be able to proc extra mats.
How many hours did this take you? I know the mining catchup takes a while to get atleast.
Working on the Mining/Herbing now. I only did the Enchanting part which was only 15mins. Def need that max deftness/weaver buff for gathering. But yes do expect that to take a bit will see.
what exactly the Patron Crafting Orders line indicates? i don't get it
How much catchup knowledge your character is eligible to get. Or how much KP Blizz thinks you have missed. But outside of Enchanting/Mining/Herbing and Skinning you have no agency in getting it, just timegated in patron orders.
On my main im a BS and it says 30 because I haven't done all the 100k cost patron orders they send, but you have no way of getting that catchup.
I'm confused. Do I start with enchanting or inscription?
Enchanting, the inscription was just to get the treasure for 20 more AA while looking for the Enchanting Weekly Treasure.

im tailor and enchanting on main, can i keep both professions and do this still? you mentioned leatherworking for disenchanting stuff, did you make those items on another crafter? im not fussed about getting inscription for 20 extra

If I have already maxed out herb and mining and drop them for say enchanting / tailoring get my AA then when I go back to herbing and mining will I be able to get my AA back for herbing and mining?

For enchanting what is weekly enchanting treasure ?
Powdered Fulgurance and Crystalline Repository. You can get them from dirt piles or any of the zone specific treasures.
Do u lose all recipes of TWW if u drop the proffesion?
Yes don't drop a good profession.

Does this make sense to do if you have a current expansion profession maxed out with no recipes from old expansions? I have mining from only Khaz Algar and no mining skill form old expansions. Would i lose anything from my current expansion mining knowledge tree if i dropped it and then picked it back up again after doing the shuffle?
If you only have mining, you're safe to do this, but you will have to relevel it from 0. You will keep all of your KP in the trees.
What is the add on that highlights the shimmering dust?

@@Eyancraft I have that weekaura, and just logged into a neww lvl 70 alt. I unlearned Tailoring, learned Enchanting. Looded at the WA to see, but shimmering dust is not listed. Any idea on why not?

You will lose all recipes, you don't lose KP.

Nah the Enchanting catchup is one time, you will get more each week but I think its only 40.

Get the WeakAura and make sure that "Shimmering Dust" is green, if it is not you need to do the steps I listed to unlock it.

Get the weakaura from the description to see if its red/green, do the weekly/get weekly treasure and de items until you get the epic kp item and it should be there for you.

I don't skin so no but if I were to guess it would be Perception, i imagine the most gold is in the rare skins. For leatherworking it depends on what you are doing, if the item can multicraft then its multicraft if not its resourcefulness.
