You must have a high school diploma, although if you do have a university degree or have studied in college it's best to look for course like tourism or communications, and learning multiple languages is always helpful. DO NOT BOTHER TO APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TONS OF PEOPLE EXPERIENCE
I love hearing about this lifestyle. I work a 9-5 during the week and I don't see my husband much (also I'm only a year older than you:) ). You're so well-organized and wise beyond your years!! Makes me want to do more than work my desk job.😴
Also--you should do a video on your experience with the personality or "question" test that the airlines have you after applying!

Do you ever get nauseous when traveling?
When your room key does not work you don’t need to walk all the way down. Most hotels have a phone by the elevator. Call down and ask for them to deliver new room keys up to your floor.
I think being properly packed for delays makes the experience a lot less annoying. Like you pack snacks, charge all your devices, bring your charging cables, load videos on iPad, pack light so you can move around the airport, bring flats, a scarf and tights, sunglasses, medicine, etc. a lot of people delayed in the airport are big babies that don’t understand you need to prepare on this level to handle delays. But for business travel, even if I could run the expense through at the airport during a delay, my annoyance went up because it was making my weekend shorter and causing me to spend time doing more paperwork to get reimbursed. Now that I realized some duty free shops let you buy Chanel makeup without being on an international flight, I would be running around the airport trying to do that lol.

If anyone else is like me & chewing gum or swallowing doesnt help w. Your ears while flying, try taking a decongestant. I take dayquil an hr before my flights & i dont have an issue. :) **make sure whatever you take is NON DROWSY**
My husband travels frequently all over the Country. He's probably been a passenger of yours lol. My sister-in-law's friend recently became a empty nester & decided to be a flight attendant! She loves it! I have a few questions for you, what is your college degree in? How do you keep your balance while up & about during turbulence? What’s some things to include in your resume/ application and what prior experience do you need?
I love flying. Im nervous in a car, but put me in a plane, and im totally relaxed. Im also considering becoming a flight attendant.
What's your annual salary? How much do you earn hourly (if applicable) and how much are your per diem payments?
The average is between 20-40,000$ as yearly salary. Typically your paid about 25 dollars an hr but that doesn't start till the plane pulls out. So when flight attendants are welcoming you and making sure everyone is buckled in...their not getting paid for that but are still expected to do it.
Actually it depends if you’re regional or mainline and your seniority. The info above is more for mainline with a year or two under your belt. Regional pay is not as high. Between 17 and 19 per flight hour. Meaning when from when the pilot releases the breaks to main cabin door open. That’s it. Per diem depends on the airline.

What made you want to become a flight attendant?
My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half.. we met while I was already a flight attendant and everything is going really well. Before I switched companies I was home a lot... switched companies in the middle of our relationship and I'm home a lot less... however our relationship is still going strong.
i think it may be hard to maintain, but try to spend more of your time with them (when you're off of course) and talk to them a lot over the phone. let them know if you have any issues and such, this will help keep the trust and everything.

Isabel May 1 language, but I think learning more gets you better pay.

I'm 11 and I really want to be a flight attendant my uncle is a pilot and told me to work hard
TIP: don’t get any tattoos! If you do absolutely want one, try and make sure it’s not anywhere people can see. Airlines look for this. I have two tattoos that are visible and it’s hard to find airline work.

You can if you do online school but not meeting in class courses since you do not have a work schedule like 9-5 on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays.

Hi Carrie, I'm new and love what you put up. I noticed that you mentioned the lip color Dior Addict Lacquer in Underground and I was wondering if it has a scent. I'm super sensitive to scents, I do okay with fruity ones but vanilla and others are too painful for me to wear. Thanks🙏🏻

Do you get any kind of preference as far as your home base? My only thing keeping me from going after my flight attendant dreams is being able to see my family a decent amount. I would love to at least be on the east coast and didn’t know if you get any kind of preference

Couple questions...what high school requirements do u need to become a flight attendant? Also what is the height requirement...I read it's like 4'11-6'3 idk if that's true...Do u live in the US or Canada? so ya those are the questions
Jastine Pidborochynski you have to be tall enough to open the overhead bins, tippy toes are fine.
Yeah as long as you can reach the over head bins with ease and fit through the Isle your gold. You only rly need a high school diploma but a degree in something like tourism or another language will greatly help. DON'T BOTHER APPLYING WITHOUT HAVING TONS OF PEOPLE EXPERIENCE

Like can you be a lil more specific as to what exactly Airlines are looking for as far as someone's "people experience"? And how and/or where can you incorporate the fact you've got a lot of experience with people?

Hi babes!! What exactly did you study in college to be a flight attendant?
You don't need to graduate college just be done with high school and if you get the job the airline that hired you will put you through training and it takes depending on the airline about 8-10 weeks :)
Not nessacary but it helps if you happen to have studied things such as tourism or communications :) don't even bother applying if you don't have much people experience
