He appears in an entertainment show. He is very knowledgeable and has obviously built up a business from scratch. His personal life should be just that, personal. Good luck to his wife, I hope they can manage to still work together
I find the show to be almost literally smoke and mirrors - apparently he travels miles to buy very little from the places he visits - when you work out the time, cost of fuel, meals, Tee's wages, hotels, etc, it just doesn't add up - nobody could run a business like that. Drew knows a lot but maybe not quite as much as he thinks he does.
Exactly what my thoughts are, doesn't make financial sense, presumably doe's it for the programme and get's recompensed.
Scripted.
What you see on the show is only small part of what he buys.Plus he would get nice money to have a show done on him.
Fake like all the other programmes about antiques on TV it's all nonsense but it makes good TV for the people who dont really understand how it works
The guy is worth millions so that kind of disproves your theory !!
Hi Matt. Watching from Ireland. The worst thing to hear, especially on this video was, 'Thank you so much for watching'... I thought I was only 10 mins in, and suddenly its over. This RS6 is going to be truly unique and amazing. Keep up the great work. 🇮🇪
The moment someone says to me "to be honest with you" (one of DP's favourite sayings) ... I cringe and immediately doubt the plausibility of the next statement uttered!
Knowledge is seen as arrogance …it’s a shame we can’t give credit where it’s due… Drew’s shown us true passion, his private life is his own
Tell that to Prince Andrew. Public figures have to be careful when out and about..if not fame will soon be over
Is it? Never heard that before. Maybe it's how that knowledge is used or communicated
No. El conocimiento es conocimiento y la arrogancia es arrogancia. Y este personaje, independientemente del conocimiento que tenga, es muy arrogante.
Let’s make no mistake he is arrogant but then again he’s got something to be arrogant about apart from being unfaithful to his wife which I suppose is a big thing I don’t think he’s a bad person.
Sadly his TV success has gone to his head to make him annoyingly arrogant & opinionated, characteristics that are reflected in his life experiences. So no real surprise that he's not liked and can't hold down a relationship. In his favour he's very knowledgeable about antique restoration plus he has HUGE feet ... and new teeth!
So true, I think you can be humble even if you’re extremely good at your profession
This was a very interesting video thank you, but did you know your elbow was resting on a drum-machine? 😉👍🇬🇧
I used to love the show, but his ego got too big and he turned into an arrogant greedy person. Can't bear to watch him now. Rebecca is well rid of him.
My interest lies in the the incredible skills displayed by the multi-faceted craftsmen and women who work their hands-on magic with the items he buys. I'm in awe of their artifice.
I'm not sure I would trust him any further than I can throw a grand piano! However, I do like the programme, although I keep thinking of the Harry Enfield sketches in which he runs a shop called 'I Saw You Coming', and wonder whether that's where Drew got the idea for his business.
We saw him fixing up his shop in Conwy. We waved through the window and he waved back. He could have set the dogs on us but just carried on with his work.
Drew is part of the Bovine excrement television programming corporation & has done very well.
Just a conceited little man (not sure if it's the correct use of the word man)
@@eddiephillips6740 yep correct not a man just a modern pronoun they, there, it or identify as her. Anything to get on telly like all the rest. I stopped watching TV in Feb & get much better sleep than I've had in years
His nickname around here is "Pikey Pritchard" with a reputation if buying something for nothing, rubbing it over with the back page of Sporting Life and moving it on for a sizeable profit.
And there's something wrong with that?
@@jimdemetri8168 when you trade on somebody's lack of knowledge and give a low-ball offer....absolutely there is something wring with that!!
The prime example was the batch of EDL enamelled industrial light units bought for 30 quid each and c advertised them on the website for £285 each.....all he did was clean them. He should have given the seller a fairer price but he didn't...he took the piss in my opinion.
The caveat to this is that the seller should have perhaps done some research before inviting the monkey into his premises and have more of an idea of the value.
Just a modern day del boy.... nothing wrong with that...just business
Actually…. that’s just how the business works. The seller doesn’t have to sell……. If he paid the retail price , then who’d pay all of the staff , restorations, advertising, housing etc. I find Drew himself…. Just alright ….. but Tee was brilliant and his ex wife lovely.
What do you expect him to do? He has to make his margin after his own costs, VAT paying staff for the restoration of the item, and the costs of running business premises - not to mention shipping the item to the new owners - even then his profit is gross, meaning it may be subject to corporation tax if his business is making a profit. Many people trot that line about Drew and I assume most of them know nothing about running a business. People have no clue how much tax and overheads weigh you down. Some people seem to think if you buy something for £20 and sell it for £35 that's great, you've made a profit but it does not work like that. This is not a case of someone selling stuff on eBay out of their garden shed! I would imagine if Drew buys something for say, £20 then restores it he has to sell it for at least £100 to make a reasonable profit after costs. I know this because I run my own e-commerce business from premises, with staff!
Always enjoy watching the Salvage Hunters, enjoy seeing the interesting places that he visits and the different personalities that Tee and himself meet in his Quest around the country for items of value, in many cases items that are not so valuable or in the best of conditions, that is until his highly skilled workforce get to work and make brilliant restorations that you wouldn't think possible.
Look forward to a new series of the Salvage Hunters as the repeat after repeat after repeat programs get very boring. Come on Quest TV stop the repeats and bring the new !!
I find from what i gather on TV he comes across as an arrogant over self assured.maybe that's how you need to be in that line of work.liked the car programs and even the antiques.I would love to have a load of items he was really interested in buying only to tell him Sorry not for sale.
Drew Pritchard has been BANNED from MOST PUBS in the area WHERE HE LIVES
I've loved watching the programmes despite the fact that he is in love with himself. He is the sort of bloke who asks for a punch in the mouth. Love T
I watched till the end. I also watched most of the TV shows from which I learn a lot.
This item when restored could be worth £2000 then he buys it for £400 + restoration £100 makes £1500 .what a rip off
You deserve a hug right now
To be honest. I did like the show. Only thing is I disliked the way he undercut the price to the seller, knowing that he would make a fortune. Not right in my view.

He may not be everyone's cup of tea but at least he's a self-made man!
Which sadly doesn't say or mean much when you look at the ingredients he (mis)used!
I get blood pressure when he takes advantage of novice dealers and patronises sellers. He also pontificates about saving British heritage then sells it abroad. Whilst I enjoys looking at all the salvage and antiques, I find him a repugnant little creep. I had to stop watching him in the end. He's a fine example to his son. 🙄
It's good of him to take the blame!
Thats not true is it before the tv programme he was 178.000in debt ,he was approaching tv shows to get a show to get out of dwbt
He's good at what he does ,as for saying why deal with him for what he gives people compared to its worth .... he has a lot of work to do to items after purchase ,and if the seller is happy with what there offered what's it to do with anyone else!! As to his private life,,,,, that's it PRIVATE
Quite interesting but somewhat ruined by the continuous, superfluous drum track. Ok, it’s about Drew but no mention of his old childhood buddy and right hand man T.
Annoying drum track, had to stop watching
Money destroys everything especially people, i sometimes work at wealthy people's homes & it's all very nice but lacks soul & that lovely homely feel & there miserable as fuck, they trust nobody & are paranoid, they don't make friends as they never know who's genuine & who's false & that includes girlfriend or partners as they never know if there with them for who they are or what there worth ? I'm not a rich man but im not a poor man either, I'm a 38yrs exp painter & decorator that's worked all my life & did it the hard way as i wasn't a privileged rich kid like most i see where i work where mummy & Daddy have done everything for them, but it makes you who you are, it feels good when i know what i have just bought i earned & worked hard for, it has meaning, one thing i have learned is the wealthy fear death more than anybody else as they also fear leaving everything behind when they pass , not including loved ones, but you come into this world with nothing & you leave with nothing ?
He's not Welsh. He was born in Stockport, Cheshire, England.
Obnoxious man i cannot stand him god knows how his wife stayed with him for so long.
Personally I think he is a dam con man .. the prices he gets his items for and then sells for is nothing short of robbery .. he fills the dealers up with so much crap then makes a killing on them .. crook !!

I enjoy watching his shows. Tee and Rebecca are great too.
I ❤this show and all the people involved its got everything.....he goes to beautiful places in the UK......and I love while he looks for things to buy ...the owners dogs following....Brill...
He's saving things that properly would be lost ....❤
Love the show. Tee is my favourite with his sense of humour. Drew is smart but I lost respect for him with his extra marital affair. Rebecca is lovely and smart and an asset to Drews business. She was very smart to secure her place with continued growth of business. Drews lucky she didn’t clean him out. Dirty bastard. I don’t like cheaters. Shame on him.
Rumour is she was the one with money.
She must have known he would stray, as he is so tall handsome with a beautiful natural smile 😂.
( What WAS the ‘other woman ‘ thinking , or was she attracted to his 9 million dollar nett worth 😢)
@@A2Z1Two3 LOL - my thoughts exactly - his assets must be well hidden!
Always seem fair and often pays more for items than the seller asks for..His Private life is exactly that!
Bullshit
Sadly my impession of Drew has only gone up after learning he is barred from 1/2 the pubs in Conwy on the "Pubwatch Scheme" (if it is true?) .... I can just imagine him biting the ankles of a 6 foot 4 bouncer trying to get a pint of a Friday Night in Conwy ... Then texting the "long suffering" T ... (designated driver) to give him a lift to Prestatyn so he can "down a few" before returning to "Pritchard Mansions" to snuggle up to "the empty space in the bed" where "Rebecca" used to be ... (none of this is any of our business) ... Fights in pubs over women is not uncommon in Welsh Folk Lore ... Ask Dylan Thomas ... Or "Ted Hughes" ... My thoughts are with "Rebecca" ... "The Sylvia Plath" of "Drew's Empire" th-cam.com/video/_Ml6UehFhG0/w-d-xo.html

Used to watch him all the time but as time went on he got more and more arrogant and even ripping some people off, and on another point this is old news..... very old 😂😂
A very clever con man with no scruples Picked on the wrong woman😮😮😮😮😊
Very Arrogant
I agree and a wanker as well
I watched until the end.!!!❤️❤️
King Of Hearts ❤️
Why do they always put on bloody music when you are trying to listen, use to love the show now he is very arrogant man and thinks he does a good deal but he must make a mint
Never seen him on TV until I got free sat
I love his shows
A representative of the most acquisitive and rapacious arm of the antiques industry.
Sex pest... How can people say his private life is his own when he went out to ruin a couples lives...
Then he gets away with hitting someone who didn't want to sell for the price he was offering..
Power crazy
I can't abide the smug git, especially since all his hard negotiable 'deals' are bought with the money he gets from his contract with the TV Company.
You just "can't abide" successful people .... jealousy is an evil emotion😉
@@nigelbase1196 Right Doylem.
The man is a complete pariah, fortunately my tbsp is fitted with an off switch
Really good show, I would like to know how much he sells things on for, also some of the restoration jobs must be expensive.
I watched to the end. ❤️
Him and his wife are so Arrogant know someone that comes across him in the trade and can't use the names/terms they used about him but let's say wasn't polite!
As for dealings when on TV show it's paid for by TV company as it's there show/ratings. Much in same way as TH-cam works
Overpowering ego ... obvious to anyone with a brain ... thing is people like that, never really get it, do they. ?
I’m surprised anyone deals with him when you see what he pays them compared to what it’s worth
there has been the odd occasion he has told the seller their price is too cheap and he offers more, but you have to remember it business not a charity he's running, so if the seller is happy with the price offered that's ok business is business
Turnover has nothing to do with profit, even if he trebles his money he isn't necessarily making anything, besides which he's incredibly fair.
Trade price is one third of retail so he's being fair most of the time, some are losses made up by some lucky finds
@@rayflynn162 I suggest you watch the programs more closely, nine times out of ten all he gets his workers to do is to give it a clean and maybe a bit of polish then bangs it out for a huge profit
@@gordonblack5414 he also has to drive miles & the lengths of the country & sometimes for something that don't justify the time taken to travel there
I watched till the end, of course. What about something on Tee?
yes hes to watch i love the program on tv thay are very good john nottingham
He comes across as a nice guy giving people more money than the item is worth then still sales it at a huge profit a very arrogant man.
I think you may mean a very confidant man in his ability to see an item, buy it at an AGREED cost with the seller and then sell at a profit. That is not arrogance imo
That’s called business he’s not going to sell at a loss he’d go bust pretty quickly, like most businesses people!
What do you expect him to do? Surely you can see the resemblence between Drew and David Gandy Michael! 😆👍
You're the best Thank you so much for sharing this with me
He loves the sound of his own voice. And the caps!!! One min its on next its off.
I just knew he was a wrong 'un. 😂
I watched till the end 😊😊😊
I watched til the end!
Wonderful, your video just keep getting better & better All my favorites
Great video my only niggle was the looped beat, Your voice narration would have been sufficient imo. Good research. I did wonder what happened to the show. Interestingly I always had a hunch she was having an affair! she probably wasn't, just a feeling I got from their interactions.
I wayched till the end. ❤
Tee could do with a good wash and clean clothes drew is a very clever man shame about his marriage
Background music/noise absolutely ruins this vid imo
I watched till the end thanks
It was interesting to hear that he bought items from Northern Ireland in Germany WTF (5:44)
I watched till the end❤❤😊😊😊
we want the juicy bits tho !
Never really too keen on this man. I always saw him out to make money, money, money. An opportunist +++ Wouldn’t trust
him an inch.
It`s a programme about dealing ,i.e. buying and selling . The whole point of it is money. Suggest you don`t watch this type of programme if you don`t understand it .
I actually preferred the spin off programme about restoration, meeting other dealers and experts .
I see all the haters are in....stick to the soaps then ...for all your reality 😅
@@mariachester950
I’m not a ‘hater’ I don’t hate anybody. I just cannot warm to the main man in this TV programme and his pretty obvious
greed. Like most TV programmes it’s probably staged in order to be a watchable 40 mins or so. Reality TV is much
more likely to be a wild nature programme e.g. NOT a soap. Soaps are made up stories around a theme or characters.
'I watched to the end' 🤣
🔥🔥🔥🔥Profoundly interesting
Very Wonderful ❤️
lockdown and we are watching📺 this 🌞 😘
Killer work
Get rid of the background music….most annoying…we are not in a rave are we !!!
Get rid of the music boring
Why the kucf would you have music playing while you're talking!
This video introduction gave me the impression that I would learn some personal aspects of Drew's life. I love watching Salvage Hunters. I wanted to learn more about his x-wife, and to confirm that his ever present male partner is more than just a friend. Kind of a click bait video. I will not subscribe nor will I like this video.
What's happend t Tee there's no mention of him I like him 😁
i think its sad people calling drew a sex pest.he's a decent bloke with nothing to hide
Nunca te fíes de alguien que engaña a su mujer, a la madre de su hijo.
May not be as nice as he pretends I think..
Certainly looks like you are right 🙄
background 'music' ruined this!
'I WATCHED TILL THE END'
Why must you put the incessant drum beat on videos? For someone with hearing difficulty is is at least annoying and at worst makes the commentary indistinct. I turn sound off and make do with auto generated subtitles
YES I WATCHED TO THE END
I like drew and i like the show
He's a murdering thief who attacked 13th holy spirit
Good luck to him...as always, the TV show goes too far and spoils the original idea. Don't like the discussion of how much he can make on his buy, while still on the owners premises. But he's undoubtedly successful.
I'm sure the programme wouldn't be as interesting otherwise! The whole idea is for us to see exactly how much he's ripping people off, in between the regular "to be honest with you" and "now you're talking" LoL
Lose the background music, it's annoying AF.
spectacular ocean until you're officially captivate me...great
Wooowww......heart piercing💗..... 👍 Best
Turn the music off 😠
Liked savage hunter but saw to much of him seem to have taken over quest

I don’t rate him at all.
I love his show it is private his life
