- It was so nice meet my Hero TOMMY EMMANUEL again, he is such an inspiration to us all.
I played him the song ("Old Town") (which was composed by himself), which i started learning last week ( I was so excited/nervous..., that's why I played the song a bit faster and had mistakes :D . It was a big honor for me, to play the song for him. I thought it was so kind of him, to take his time and to show me exactly the Chords/Licks. And then i played shortly the song "Winding West" by Brooks Robertson for him. (Sorry for my English it's not the best..:) )

Tommy inspires and encourages players all around the world. I had the good fortune of meeting him a few years ago. What a kind and gentle man.
So nice, Tommy Emmanuel takes his time - backstage, when he is on tour - to make very advanced players even better.
Yes, I thought it was so nice of him, that he showed me exactly the right chords/licks again :) He is such a kind open/sympathetic person.."the guitar god"🎸🎶🙌 it was a unforgettable/beautiful evening😊🙂
You actually pay to be in the meet and greet to chat with him, but it’s worth it. I was so star struck I said to him, “You are real”. What a dumb thing to say 😱 But he is very charming.

Tommy's heart is so evident to share... I love him.
When I saw him live in Clearwater Fl, he waited out front and basically talked to everyone in line for multiple hours after the show, since I was young he let me come to the front and he gave me an autograph and talked with me for a few minutes. That meant so much I still remember it 10 years later like it was yesterday
Just think of how many thousands/millions of people have those experiences that they'll never forget. Amazing guy.

Real light master of acooustic guitar
Does anyone know why Tommy always closes his eyes when listening to the playing of fans? He does look a little bit, I guess just to check his playing style and fingering of chords/notes. Does he close his eyes to keep them from being nervous playing in front of him, does he hear the notes better if he's not playing by closing his eyes or is it just something that he does to enjoy the music?
If you notice they just stare at him most of the time, it can be quite intense to stare into a strangers eyes for an extended period, especially when they have such an admiring stare, almost like they are in love.
Great job dude. Only 10-15 mistakes and some homework but getting there!
